I like how you pointed that out but I have to completely disagree because I grew up in the generation before hers where our parents had camcorders and a cell phone didn't have a camera. I'm one of the most Narcissistic generations produced. There are 2 generations after me that are even more narcissistic. Each one getting more and more self centered. Easy to placate to a camera. I can do it snowboarding/Mt biking down a double Black Diamond, Or surfing waves.
I used to play roller hockey before street blading, and a had a chance to play on ice once as a kid, I can ride but that spinning shit would have me on my ass lol.

Talent with looks is what figure skating is about. Maybe she'll be on the Olympics one day if she goes for it.

I agree, sometimes it’s hard to see all the moves they’re doing when they’re flying in the air so fast. I think it shows their talent even more when you see it in slo-mo and see that every second is still perfection even down to their facial expressions. Figure skating is just so beautiful.

The bit where she was skating bent over backwards with her head almost touching the ice was ridiculous. Such incredible balance and technique. Obviously years of hard work and dedication. I knew an ice skater back in high back in high school. The incredible level of commitment and dedication her and her fellow sketers was something anyone couldn't help but admire. They be all at the rink by 4 am, finish by 8am and some family member or friend would pick them to get them to school...... Sadly one in a 1000 make it to an Olympic spot. That's either dedication or just wishful thinking but she sure dreamed about it and that's dedication in its right.

Balance,coordniation,beauty,fluidity in motion, utterly captivating!!! The lady in pink who seems determined to go airborne is amazing. She reminds me of myself many, many years ago. Growing up in the mtns of Tennessee, i just loved running and climbing @ jumping all along the bluffs,ridges @ leaping from one huge boulder to the next. I'd be walking along @ break into a run, leaping as high as i could, coming down to spin and take off again. The freedom of running,the adrenalin rush id get from jumping from one huge boulder to the next, dash across a fallen tree, just moving as fast as i could and glorying in the joy of movement.... I'm an old lady now, those days are long gone. But morning can ever take away the memories of the joy and freedom i feltin those teen years ,mistress if the mountains of my youth......
Those butterfly kicks are just absolutely fantastic (as was everything). As a martial artist, I have to say, amazing job, all of her hardwork and sacrifice has resulted in pure skill and beauty.

Yeah, it's amazing how they master the ice when they are all relax during practice and in their own ice skating ring; but when they go to competition at the Olympics and national competitions, they start falling, or hitting the wall or failing their triple axles, or making all kinds of mistakes when their own nerves play a trick on them. 😁😁😁 But at the end of the day, they are all very skilled skaters. They all deserve some credit.

I've been ice skating for 4 years, she is incredibly talented and has obviously worked and trained so hard. The best part is seeing how much she loves what she does!!
