  • In this video we'll go over how to create a Wordpress website starting from nothing. We'll use the free Kadence theme and blocks plugins. This is an excellent starting point for a website for photographers, but is generic enough to be used by anyone!

    Thank you for this detailed and well presented tutorial on using Kadence Theme & Blocks to build a website. Just started working with Kadence Theme & Kadence Blocks (free version) and really like the builder; the page load speed is really impressive.
    I created a test website using the Kadence Starter template called "Freelance". Working with this starter template has helped me gain familiarity with customizer and Kadence options. One aspect that has me stumped is the use Advanced Gallery block, which is used in the Freelance template to create a background carousel. Would really appreciate it if you could do a video on the Freelance Starter template and explain how the background carousel was created and how & where the options are to style it.

    How do you start with the Kadence Theme and erase all of the example blocks with a few key strokes? I'm literally designing from scratch. Thanks in advance.

    Can we add woo-commerce to it?

    • @SummerLynStudios
      @SummerLynStudios  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup absolutely! My site summerlynstudios.com is built on Kadence and uses WooCommerce. There's definitely work to do as far as integrating Woocommerce with Gutenberg blocks still but if you want to use them in your product etc pages there are some options like WooBuilder (I use that one).

    Thanks for the tutorial.
    Question to social links in header (timestamp 9:55 and forward). When I add the link (facebook.com/) it works fine on a pc. But on mobile devices it starts up a browser and want me to login. How can I on mobile devices open the page in the Facebook app?
