I don't know if was starting off with pasticceria (LOL), the beautiful views from where I was sitting in the back seat or the fact that Christmas is my favorite holiday but this was wonderful. It looked like you could barely walk, but I also wanted to buy everything you showed. Wish I could replicate the cloisters in my backyard. Bravo!!!
I can look into it and get more info for you. The one thing I did learn is that you have to line up the ticket exactly like the icon all the way to the left or the machine rejects the ticket. I had to learn that the hard way. Also you don't know the total till you get to the toll. It's a little tricky. Make sure you have plenty of coins and small bills to make it easier.
I think it's worth it. I wasn't feeling very well and still enjoyed it very much. It's crowded but not crazy crowded. It's just Christmas alley is a tiny street but it was fun. The shops start to all look alike after awhile but its very interesting and there are other great sites to see close by.
