Yes Montreal was a big destination for Italians. We reside in Toronto. I immigrated here at the age of 7 months old. I’m from Abruzzo . I’ve only been back to Pescara a few times . Yes we will most definitely let you know if we make the trip out Keep those posts coming.

It was our first project. It was around $7000. It was a little more than we wanted because we had to build the two walls. The plastering drove up the cost.

@@ouritalianadventures6190 They did a great job. Its important, as you know, to do the job right the 1st time. I had my plumbing completely re-done in my townhome here in NC and it was $10,000. It was worth it.

That's exactly why we bought in Molise. We've been to Benevento, it's about a hour from us. We also love Naples. See our Christmas in Naples video.

I don't think the prices are high but I was used to prices in the NY and NJ area before Italy. They also reduced the prices based on the time the item sits there unsold. Thanks for watching.

Well said! I forgot to mention about the tailgating but they also did that a lot in NJ and NY where we lived before. Campobasso Is a really nice city. Still very authentic Italian. Not touristy. I actually was thinking of going to Vasto in Abruzzo next week to check it out. Have you been?

@@ouritalianadventures6190 Hi Chuck. We have been to Vasto quite a few times. It is a very nice town to wander around in. There is a mercatino usato, but I couldn't tell you exactly how to get there as it is on a side street and we got confused by google maps! LOL. We like to get caffe in the Botanist, which is by a pay parking lot in the centro storico. We have eaten lunch a few times at Sunrise Agri Food, which has lovely views of the sea (also in centro storico).

Sorry but I don't really speak Italian yet. I am trying to learn. It's very hard for me to roll my R's. Also there aren't any real in person teachers in my area. Only online. I tried my best to try to speak correctly but sometimes what I think in my head correctly doesn't always come out of my mouth correctly. But I keep trying to get better and conquer my insecurity of speaking incorrectly. Thanks for your comment.

It's been so hot here in Italy all summer, we haven't felt like filming. And then everything shuts down for the month of August. Glad you liked the video. Hopefully we will start back up doing more now that it is cooler.

@@ouritalianadventures6190 my mom has a cousin that lives in the apartments in the piazza. Our trip there was great and we had a local paesano take us around. It was great for my kids to see where their nonna grew up. Toronto “vinchiaturese” here! 🇨🇦❤️🇮🇹 I’ve been to Vinchiaturo 3x in my life, will return again soon.

Correct. The smaller house attached to the right of our house is our neighbors. The old ruin and the herb garden are behind the garage to the left of the house. Plus the other ruin where we want to do the kitchen is behind the house. The stone house across the street is also ours. We would also like to renovate that one but will be later. Yes, the brown garage door is also ours. The old railings weren't terrible but the bottoms were all rusted from cat pee and I really didn't like the red color either. Thanks for watching.
