  • Using the pomodoro technique and the 52 17 productivity method this timer will help you stay on track for 4 hours.
Hey everyone, I've previously made some 1-2 hour study with me type videos. Today I'm testing out a longer timer type video with a title page instead of me working. There is no music or background noise, only an alarm when the timer is up. You can have this on in the background as you work to help you effectively do some study for your PhD.
It follows this process: 2 pomodoros so 2 x 25 minutes of work with 5 minutes of break. This will get you warmed up. Then 1 52 minutes of work followed by a 17 minute break (found to be a very effective way to work by a productivity app). Then this whole process is repeated.
I think having this video on in the background while you work is much easier than starting and stopping a timer all throughout the day. I really hope this will be helpful to you! Make sure to subscribe for more PhD and Productivity related content.

This is a real time study session to provide you with some study motivation. Similar to a previous study with me pomodoro no music that I've done before: • PhD study with me in r...
But this is a long real time study with me using a pomodoro timer and the pomodoro method. A study timer or a work timer can be so helpful for teaching you how to study effectively. Doing a productive work day can be difficult at this time as our work routine is all messed up. Hopefully this video will help you learn how to work effectively through the 4 hour workday. A 4 hour study timer using the pomodoro technique and the 52 minute timer i.e. the 52 17 productivity hack. I love productivity but it can be difficult to know how to be productive working from home. This is a brain focus productivity timer and productivity timer learning how to be productive. Thanks from phd and productivity.

Cool video! I use an app called Tomighty (on both my Mac and Windows PC) and I find it really useful. I love the Pomodoro technique because I can work all day without ever feeling burnt-out. I'm definitely coming back to this video because it gives a little variety to using Pomodoro. The little text animations are cute too lol

This type of video personally suits me !! I don't feel distracting at all !
One thing that I would like to add is that you can have a background music whenever breaktime comes as if someone who is not looking in the screen everytime but can notice the breaktime with the sound(I like the background tune that you used in PhD Gantt chart video). However this one is least distracting of all.
Btw thanks again for phd gantt chart video i just made mine in the excel !!

Hey Aman! I'm so glad you found this useful. I try to avoid putting music in even during the breaks because I know lots of people have their own music on while they work so it would clash I think.

This is really helpful, I have used pomodoros frequently on my own, but often forget to reset the timer after a break. I like how these are more automated! Thank you!

Was it just me or did anyone else hear those random alarm sounds when it wasn't even time to switch to a break? I don't' have any other tabs open and all my alarms are off, but I still heard that sound for no reason. Also, when I rewind the video to when I heard it, it didn't come anymore. P.S., I still love this video, it helped me so much!
Edit: fudge you all! everyone who saw this comment and didn't interact with it someway, fudge you! Even if it was a dislike, I would've been happy! Fudge fudge fudge FUDGE. I hate you, I hate you, I HATE YOU!!!!!!!! >:(
