Yes the original/Spanish ver is Alejandro Sanz's song
But SM has bought this song, changed the lyric (note: it wasN'T translated, they made a new different lyric) and was sung originally by Jonghyun. He released it officially under his/SHINee's name. And here the singer used Jonghyun's ver as the reference, not the spanish one, so it's right to say that she sang Jonghyun's song, nothing wrong with that, even MBC itself considered this as SHINee's song

I love her rendition of this song. She puts her own style to it in a way that doesn't completely change the original rhythm. Her voice is extremely emotive, just as how jonghyun sang it. What an amazing cover, I simply love 💕 both versions (and third if you count the ~original~ singer, Alejandro)

SM bought the rights To the song like 10 years ago so it's not Alejandros anymore. And it's not just à translation in korean, they changed the lyrics so this is a Jonghyun song.

And i never criticized Jonghyun's version, even i said that Jonghyun's version was beautiful, but everybody is focused in trying to say that it was written by Jonghyun when it was not. If i want to sing a song that was written in a different language than mine, that does not mean that i am the composer, it means that i wrote a new version of the song. And if I, as a composer give the "permission" of write a New version , that does not mean that my song belong to somebody else, and somebody else is the "new " composer. It is called "author rights", and Alejandro Sanz, did not sell the song. The point is , i repeat, is that i NEVER critized Jonghyun's version, or this Singer version, did I?, so i do not know why everybody is fighting over something I did not say.

But according to the norms of the program, the audience and the panelists sign a contract promising that if they know or have a certain idea of who the singer is, they are forbidden to say it on social networks, etc. If they do not pay a penalty for breaking the contract.

What makes this song so great is the melody and music. The way it's composed. I don't even know what she's singing but it sounds amazing because of how the music is composed. It's starts in a Major chord and the chord progressions help it go in a big crescendo to the chorus where it goes to a Minor chord. That's why Alejandro and many spanish and latin american artists made it big everywhere in the world in the 90s.
What she did justice is making this amazing song exist on spotify so i can play it whenever i miss jonghyun so dearly .

It’s crazy when a singer can convey such intense emotions without even showing us her face. I felt every word she sung, it was so desperate and longing as it was intended to be sung.
