- Kang Seungyoon won The King of Mask Singer for six times, from March 1, 2020, to May 10, 2020. He is the first YG artist to win the prestigious long-running competition, and only the second male idol to win the crown.
Seungyoon is now the first K-POP idol to achieve six crowns in KOMS' 5-year history. He first appeared in KOMS last 2017.
Kang Seungyoon defeated noted veterans such as celebrated noraebang singer So Chan Hwee and acclaimed Broadway star Michael Lee.
During Kang Seungyoon's first win as King of Masked Singers, the show recorded a double-digit percentage of viewership ratings for the first time in 20 months.
Kang Seungyoon is slated to release his first solo album this 2020.

I'm. Not even a winner fan but when I heard iyah I downloaded it right away. Apart from seungyoon's great voice the lyrics of the song resonated in my heart. 🥺

All king of mask singer studio live performances are available in apple music. Try searching them but you can only have preview for a few seconds. You have to be a subscriber for you to listen to full version.

Yoon now is focusing on his role in the new MBC miniseries "Kairos", which will premiere in October, and he is doing his best to impress as an actor. However, the agency said Seung Yoon still took the time to work on his solo album. But for when the solo album will be released, the agency cannot decide yet. Because the drama shooting schedule and the music recording were conflicting, it was difficult to determine the exact date

Crying! Anyone who’s ever followed Seungyoon’s career knew he’s capable of this. He’s brilliant. Such a well rounded, sentimental, amazing person... it’s why he can deliver such emotions in his singing. I am so proud of him. So so proud.

I had the opportunity be at Winner's Everywhere concert, and I'm telling you, it was a truly different experience to listen to Seungyoon's voice LIVE. I mean his voice is amazing enough on screen but put a mic on him, on a studio or a hall with good acoustic... I kid you not it's ten times, twenty times better. He sang It Rains live, powerful doesn't even describe it, his voice just RESONATES through your whole senses and makes your ears vibrate in the best of ways lmao. I sound dramatic I know but it truly was an amazing experience to hear him sing in person. There is no wonder why the panels and audiences react the way they did throughout his performances (I thought they've been smitten with him and didn't even bother to show their bias, not that I'm complaining, it's just that they show their adoration so openly it's kinda funny ngl).
TLDR: *when* Seungyoon's solo comes out and with it his solo concert as well (fingers crossed), grab the chance and see for yourself. I for one will not miss it for my lyfeee.

I went to Everywhere concert too and he did an impromptu cover of All Of Me, completely acapella. And he managed to get the entire concert hall to sing along with him!! His talent and charisma is totally out of this world. I'm so lucky to have known about his (and Winner's) existence 😭😭

I was one of the many whose lucky enough to hear him sing live. Im a hard Mino Stan but Yoon stole my heart in that concert. He truly is someone who will amazingly surprise you when you hear him sing live. There is something in this guy that makes you just want to hear him sing, a gravity that pulls you towards him.
Better start saving now then coz I'm not passing up that chance to attend to his concert. I just hope my country is on his list

I always find him humble and he strives for excellence. He should have hit the jackpot, be a soloist and debut after Superstar K but he decided to be a YG trainee instead. He worked so hard to be this best. He's definitely one of the best vocalist of this generation. I was wondering why he was not included on that survey released by Koreaboo. Actually most Yg artists are great vocals. I guess they dont count artists anymore.
I think people get wrong idea when he enter yge after SSK2. He signed contract as soloist. Solo singer. Not trainee contract 😅
It's not he decided to be yg trainee but one of the condition of the contract he must live same as other trainee. That's what spark his respect for the agency, whilst others make cliche promised like to make him famous in not only Asia but world lol. Also one of the condition, YGE promised him to give atleast three (3) album in the contract period
P/s: He actually hit jackpot after SSK2. He debuted with remake song "instinctively" which Yoon Jongshin gave, and get himself ROTY (2010) when he just 16. That's why many agency want to recruit him that bad^^

Why I am tearing up watching this? I miss JooYoonBal. But I want more of Kang Seung Yoon solo stage. I can't wait for his solo album and see him enjoying a solo stage in music shows. This noona was captivated by this baby since 2017. I love Yoon so much.

Seungyoon is not a part of Yg vocals. Yg stans better stop mentioning seungyoon is Yg vocal. Most Yg vocals show technics only while seungyoon delivers vocal skills on every genres of music, emotional display through the whole music. That’s why he won sixth times winning against legends. definitely he is one of the best vocals in Kor.

I don't want this video to exist. Wanted him to keep winning. The only good thing is that I don't need to be nervous every 2 weeks for his performance. Yoon lost before too but that doesnt mean he is less talented. Most of them are great singers. Its from many elements of a performance from song choice to delivery. You lose in this situation but change one element and it could be flipped.
