Then you step outside
@@zzzzz8421 yep. Shame that genuine unity in SA is only fleeting.
How cool is it that it is South Africa that shows the world so beautifully what hope looks like.
It is so deeply touching to see and hear the sons and daughters of English, Afrikaner, Zulu, Xhosa and who knows what other peoples singing together in close harmony -- both musical and social. It gives me hope for Africa and for the world.
It gives me so much hope too
You are almost correct. The original singing of this song was by Ndebele people on the train from Bulawayo to Johannesburg to work in the mines. Where you hear 'South Africa', original lyrics were 'Rhodesia'. This wonderful song has been adopted by South Africa eapecially for singing at rugby games. Given RWC2023 is on at this time, one hears this song belted out in pubs and other public places, sung by everyone. Music is international glue, this song is proof of that.
Young people celebrating THEIR wonderful country and culture.
God bless from Scotland.
Proudly South African. Thank you
I love this song even though im not South African 😊😊
Yeah this is awesome!
the drums, the ululating. the voices. My goodness. Beautiful !!
I did this at school on my last day and it was well fun and we had African drums and everything thing but we didn't have the "arrrrrrrrrrrrreba" parts that are in it but it was good and my whole high school did it but the parents and teachers watched now im going into year 8!!!
Year 8 is going to be a year to remember
Your music touches me, and so does your purpose. In my eyes, you are all truly amazing. You inspire me to do great things. Literally, I watch these videos to cheer myself up. Sing on!
Learning this song in my community choir in Auckland New Zealand, a wonderful song to sing!
wonderful, wonderful wonderful X
Been in love with this song ever since I heard it on The Gods Must Be Crazy back in 1984. So beautiful. This is one of the best arrangements I've heard.
Thank you 😊
Unity through music... beautiful
This is amazing. This type of enthusiasm, just leaving it all out on the stage, is what separates a good Choir from an excellent choir.

Qui doit apprendre ça pour les cours ? 😉
Fuuuck! I wish so much I could sing this song, but I'm talent free.
What a totally stupid place to use profanity. totally unnecessary.
Profanity? lol Go fuck yourself moron!
Really? Is this all SA choirs have? You bore us. US come in please.
No place for wild songs in Church
started so good, then spoilt with the almost tribal sounding chirping in.. why?????!!!
+dendraver Because it's the sound of Africa. This song is, to South Africa, what America the Beautiful is to the United States, or what the hymn Jerusalem is to England.
Lol its an African song. The irony 🤣
