  • This review/overview/demo is a bit different. It's more of a podcast/rambling video. Sorry if it's a bit scattered and random. I threw this together just to have a little fun. Hope you enjoyed!

    FYI the seat does move forward and backwards, so reaching the height adjustment isn’t an issue.

    Great review. The only thing positive thing that can be said of leather seats over fabric is how quickly it can be dried if it gets wet from rain. etc. Leather seats can be wiped dry immediately where as fabric seats tend to hold the water.

    • @LogansPage
      @LogansPage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fair point! The material on these seats wicks moisture away pretty well, but it's definitely not as convenient as being able to wipe a leather seat off with a towel or something.

    Great vidja! I just purchased the 725dt. They're underrated for sure, it's a beast for sure. Cuts down 6-7 ft tall Johnson grass with out bogging down, with one of the best finishing cuts of all.(had a Toro, Kubota, hustler, dixy chopper, cub cadet, and a Husqvarna... the deere didn't show up to the party 🤔🧐) grasshopper out performed hands down. They built it for me, every one else was 2 months out, had it in 6 days. I only live 45 miles from the factory...but still, Great investment.

    well said, grasshopper is a underdog, they are under the radar and when you see someone with a grasshopper you know they did their research lol, glad you ended up with grasshopper over scag, and i like the classic look of the grasshopper, enjoy the mow brother

      Thanks man. I couldn't agree more. I'm still absolutely in love with it one year later. 0 issues out of it so far. I've been thinking filming a "one year later" review to talk about how it's held up and what I've loved and dislike about it.

    the chute opening is small on this mower I like the jd 930 ferris a d scag they cut wet grass less clumps and cut quality is good but grasshopper is good mower

    • @LogansPage
      @LogansPage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have to agree. This mower has plenty of power to blow the grass out. But I have no clue why these companies don't do the same as SCAG and widen the chute opening. It makes such a huge difference.

    • @arngreencare8955
      @arngreencare8955 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wider opening compromises cut quality near the discharge side of the deck. Scag originally tried to make their opening smaller in 2004, but they couldn't get enough air flow.

    • @johnmpifer
      @johnmpifer ปีที่แล้ว

      @@arngreencare8955 Even if what you say is true, the cut quality of Scag’s Velocity deck is widely regarded as the best in the industry.

      @@johnmpiferthey are a nice cut but no better than the JD. Saying that clippings are much finer on the Grasshopper and Exmark it just depends on your preference and conditions you normally mow.

    • @LogansPage

      It does great. The deck discharges really well and does a good chop with not clumping. And even with dull blades, the Vanguard engine rarely ever gets bogged down.

    • @LogansPage
      @LogansPage  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kylejohnston3496 I feel like my dealer told me I could upgrade the seat when I bought it, but that was years ago so I don't remember fully. Lol. And yeah it cut really well. I cut 4 acres regularly with it. Sometimes the grass was 6+ inches high. You could always see if your dealer will let you do a demo. Most of them usually do.

      I have a 125. This will be it's 10th mowing season it mowed about 2.5 acres the first 8 now about 4 acres weekly 3 yards. I am still on the original belts and they still look great. I change the oil,filters and blades every spring and that's it. The best mower I have ever been around. Plus I have a lot of muddy wet grass until the end of may. There is not a more reliable mower on the market

      What's your thoughts on the 200 series? Saving up to pay cash for one next summer, and I'm liking the bang for the buck that Grasshopper offers when comparing apples to apples. Especially when it comes to the hydros. Seems that Grasshopper beats everyone on hydros quality for the same money.

    • @arngreencare8955
      @arngreencare8955 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Grasshopper has alot of attachments that add stress to frames and drives, so they do beef up that part of the mower more than others do.

    What is the difference in this mower and the 329b?

    • @LogansPage
      @LogansPage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are quite a few.
      329B is an older design. The biggest difference is the 29HP Big Block engine. The big block engine is going to give a little more power. Other than that, the transmission setup is a little different, it uses the low-pressure bar-tread tires.
      The perks of the 328G4 are the updated design, the ROPS bar is foldable, the GRAMMER premium seat comes standard (a must have in my opinion), quick adjust handles. Also, the 28HP engine is fuel-injected so you get easy startup and it's incredibly fuel efficient.

    • @LogansPage

    Grasshopper sucks my 900D has been nothing but awful, a gutless poor design headache, been waiting for over a month for factory help to get it running. In the middle of grass season mine has been in the shop over 30 days now waiting for Grasshopper to come up with a solution why it burns up belts. A over 20,000 dollar machine that is nothing but problems.

    • @LogansPage
      @LogansPage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Really? That sucks to hear, man. I hope they get it sorted. I can only imagine how frustrating that is.
      This is only my experience as owning a 125 and now the 328 for a combined 5 years. The only issue I've had is the gas gauge quit working.
