You can change roms folder path in ArkOS. Edit file es_systems.cfg, point all the roms folder FROM something like /rom2/psx TO /rom2/roms/psx. => I guess this trick could let you use the same roms sdcard2 with 2 OS. Other note: I guess JelOS should be the same, possible to change the folder patch. But not entirely sure.
Basically, both using retroarch and ppsspp with the same bios , can not be a big difference in emulation it is about preferences of users , some people just like jelos instead of arkos menu , setups . I think here is good explanation www.reddit.com/r/ANBERNIC/s/DdGVECuVcw

Hey alongside the Roms folder theres a file thats called system volume information, where do we get that or is it important? I've had problems setting this up. When I use the systems option to create the folders it doesn't work.

I have a newer unit, and I don't think the drivers work with it. Nothing shows up on screen. For ArkOS I have to swap in the dtb file. I am not sure if I can use the same one with this OS. Hopefully it gets patched eventually. I really like the documentation and how they run the github better than ArkOS.

Yes you are keeping your old ArkOs boot sd and flashing the new jelOs to a fresh new sd card. You can then swap the 2 sd cards around depending on what OS you want to use. If you use ArkOs the sd card with the games on all the games system folders must be in the root directory, if you use jelOs the folders need to be copied into a roms folder

@@ViciousAlienKlown The original ArkOs was out of date that came with the Handheld, have a look at Jacek's other videos here, he explains where to get the new Arkos update and reflash it to a better quality SD card. The ones that come with most handhelds are cheap rubbish and corrupt easily, really easy to do and there are performance tweaks on the newer version. Leave the sd card alone in the left side (thats the games roms) its the right hand sd card with the OS on just remove it and reflash the new version on a better card put back in Job done

Just one important thing at this moment, arkos have better performance on Dreamcast and PSP and they need to improve Jelos for r36s, but for your answers if you follow this video yes it will work everything 😉

I updates this to my r36s and it works.. I used my stock card and all good for now. startup is a bit slow but everything works ok...now i need to find the best settings for the best gameplay. Hope u can give us an update on that.. thnx for the tutorials..very usefull

You don't need to download emulators, jelos and Arkos have over 50 emulators there, you just need to drag roms to specific folders that you've got on the game card and the system will show you after booting up the system , I cannot show you how to download any games as copyright reason , I can be blocked by TH-cam straight

Hi Inreqlly wish to help you but as you see my system working without any problems after drag file to roms folder , but the question you put roms Or ROMS name, shouldn't be a capital letters
It is the problem now as r36s have now a few different screens, and you need to try different dtb files to make it work sometimes . When I did this video it wasn't any problems
@@jacu27 I know that, even my first R36S had the 3rd screen and works fine when changed the dtb after 3-4 tries, but before few minutes I realised that the second one it's like R36S but it's clone and runs with emuelec 4,7. I'll set it on Sunday when I have free time

@@jacu27 I found the solution, my clone works perfectly with stock firware of K36 console by replacing the DTB file from the original SD card, I didn't check its performance but at least is working

Arkos is bad. Most of the time it stuck on arkos logo. You have to reset at few times before it boot further

Followed the steps and when I booted up the game console it just stayed on a all black screen with a blue light. Nothing ever happened.

Volume information you've got always after formatting the disk, every single disk has that file

Jelos is not supported anymore , second to have games visible you need to create folder named roms and drag everything from your games card there

Nie mozesz tego formatować, każdy system postawiony na nowej karcie po włożeniu do kompa będzie pytał o to i masz tego nie robić. Ja mam zawsze osobna kartę na gry nie instaluje na jednej
@@jacu27 ok. Wgrałem system na jedną, romy mam na drugiej sformatowanej extFAT w folderze "roms" i konsola nadal romów nie widzi.... coś muszę zmienić w ustawieniach??
Nic się nie zmienia w ustawieniach , to powinno chodzić bez problemu , tak jak widzisz na filmiku wrzucam.karte i chodzi ,coś masz nie tak
