This isn't brutal. This is Global Warming and insurance companies leaving the Gulf Coast states. BTW, with 7MPH more, at 157MPH, and it becomes Cat 5. The models are underestimating this storm. If you live in Texas, get your insurance papers dry, even though they'll try and deny your claims anyway.

If it doesn't strengthen further before it's scheduled to die down, there's a very good chance it won't reach category 5 unless the Gulf of Mexico somehow feeds it sufficiently when it crosses there at the anticipated tropical storm strength. It's barreling toward the 'hurricane graveyard' where there is a lot of wind sheer and then making landfall on top of that so the window is tiny.

We have U.S. records from as far back as 1830s and 40s, and we had high Temps back in those days at 112 to 115 degrees or higher in the same cities that are getting warm wrath now. We didnt have 90% of the industry as we do today. So what caused global warming to cause those temperatures way back then?. Please feel free to answer.
