Another thing too is pitbulls are ridiculously durable. My girl swallowed an entire plastic bag once, I didn’t find out until she pooped it out like it was no problem, took her to the vet, they said everything was fine. One time my brother turned around for barely a minute while he was making a chocolate cheesecake and when he turned around my dog had eaten the entire thing. Again, we took her to the vet, but there were absolutely no issues. No vomiting, no diarrhea, nothing. I feel like sudden vet expenses are a rare thing with pitbulls because they’re damn near bulletproof, at least in my experience
You can have one like my pitbull bullmastiff mix. If you want a pet instead of a show dog. Very agile tho! Boundless energy, eager to please but seems to think too much...;) About 50# and extremely playful and loyal, little or no ranking instinct, doesn't drool and one heat per year. With time and patience? The best of both worlds.
I think I read on wikipedia that of you fill out some sort of paperwork or can show that your dog isn't a threat to the public, you can have it regardless of breed. But I don't live there so idk
I have a American pitbull terrier he is my self trained service dog for my PTSD and Social anxiety. He is the best dog in the world but the other day when I was in Walmart this guy came up to me and said "That dog should be killed" and my pit alerted me because I was about to pass out because that guy said what he said. Just before I passed out a manager came up to me and said you need to leave and I was confused and I asked why and she said because your fake service dog is growling and lunging at people. After that I passed out for a few minutes and when I wake up my dog wasn't there and police officers were surrounding me I didn't know what was going on and the police officers said mam your dog was taken by animal control and I asked for what and they said apparently he was growling and lunging at this guy and I said what guy and the police officers pointed at the guy that said my dog should be killed and I told them the whole story and what the guy had said prior to me passing out and told them you should not be touching my service dog when I am passed out. The officers told me that they didn't think my service dog was aggressive at all because when they got there and I was passed out he did block them away but was laying on me and when they used the catch pole to get him off of me and bring him to the animal control vehicle he was waging is tail and acting excited I just got my dog back yesterday because they said they had to quarantine him and to make sure he wasn't really aggressive. But in the end they didn't obey the law because they messed with my dog while I was unconscious while he was doing his task. But best breed ever
I dont like dog fights. But today my pitbull defended me against a bigger dog that ran out of his yard and he lunched at my pit but my dog had him. But as I said he was protecting me coz his not a fighter.
Literally will love you to 💀 . I think my boy is gonna explode from elation every time I go see my mother (he’s hers now 🙄). Love the breed and love this video going over the FACTS of how awesome they are.
@@AZ-gs6hj first off there is no blue nose dog, that's a term made up by ignorant people. Second the pitbull terrier does not come in blue.. You're confusion staffs/bullies with pitbulls. Two different breeds. Please learn these differences, it's vital to stop the misinformation about these breeds.
They are great guard dogs, however americans are quite known for taking the great & legendary work done by the germans, british and just screwing it all up with turning the dogs into a bunch of show dogs not to mention the creation of that thing called a "bully".
American Pitbull terrier is an American dog. And they do not make great guard dogs, because they've specifically bred to be non-human aggressive. It would take way to much training, and Anti-socialization to make them man biters. They can learn bite work, but that doesn't always transfer to the home front.
Something to add. There is a research that suggests the terrier term in the American pit bull terrier it's not because they come from terriers ancestors, nor they come from English ancestors. Its because the word "Terrier" comes from the Latin for "Earth" as they were used for killing invasive animals living underground. Although there no detailed written records of the origins of the breed, researchers have tracked Pitbull origins all the way back to the Spanish national dog "Alano" since the dates of the conquer in America based on books, paintings, poems, etc written in those years. The Alano dog is the ancestor of the Cane Corso, Presa Canario, etc. There is a very interesting paper on this based on serious research, if someone is interested in it let me know.

I see comments from some people that their apbt was not a good guard dog, well my Pitbull cujo would be on a person asap!He protected our home against anything &anyone. By far the APBT was the best dog breed I've ever owned. Cujo lived to be 15 years old I had him since birth I was in highschool in 1984 .Dad bred quality dogs from the age of 18 -32 ad a good life with my BEST FRIEND cujo.
I just absolutely love this breed 😍
nicely done 5 min video wonderful breed fun fun fun i had one that passed away at 14 yrs old dude was swimming until two weeks prior to him passing stud athlete female, not so much lol just wanted to love everyone she met female was from a rescue group the male got tossed from a car at about 6 weeks old n my pops found him one mans trash is anothers treasure gotta dedicate the time to work out with these guys or don't do it and yes, not good guard dogs my guys loved everyone
That’s good looking dogs. Not big and goofy looking. Lean and game.
I have a female. She is small, about 35 to 40 pounds 10 months old. She loves water, and her best friend is a 10 week old kitten.
Another great presentation on this wonderful breed .Education is key when it comes to this breed and it's reputation
Awesome video man, I hope one day to see a dogumentary over the Scott Type American Bulldog.🤙🏻💯
Pits and amstaffs can do everything and anything. and even more.. !!!
Yea
Work is their name and they need lots for that energy burn to make them tired...love these beauties
Awesome dogs. We knew one that loved other animals with a low prey drive. We think its bc he was around his litter mates until 3mos, so he loves other dogs.
Hope to see more stuff on Canis Panther. Thank for your videos
People friendly is such an understatement 😂
I think they can be an OK dog, it's the fact that many of their owners are irresponsible losers/tough guy wannabes that is so off-putting.
Not out in the sticks where I live tho!
👍
They are more than ok.
@@TheScmtnrider Facts. The Pit is so loved on my island. Everyone from teenagers to old ladies own/adore the pit because it really has the potential to be a fantastic dog.
@@aiyalidat
Copy that!
And many people have the potential to be good pitbull owners!
😉💨
Do you have an American Bulldog breed review in the works? I appreciate the videos that you already feature them in, but this is a clear and concise presentation! Well done
Good to see a video of real APBT. No crappy Bullies, Hulks, or blue dogs.
Pitbulls are too sweet. I believe that the best guard dogs are doberman, cane corso, and german shepards as well as some rotties.
Without training, none of those dogs are good guard dogs. A dog must be trained to be a guard dog regardless of breed.
This would be my ideal dog athletic, strong, nice size and cool with people. Unfortunately can’t have them here in the uk
You can have one like my pitbull bullmastiff mix. If you want a pet instead of a show dog. Very agile tho! Boundless energy, eager to please but seems to think too much...;)
About 50# and extremely playful and loyal, little or no ranking instinct, doesn't drool and one heat per year.
With time and patience?
The best of both worlds.
I think I read on wikipedia that of you fill out some sort of paperwork or can show that your dog isn't a threat to the public, you can have it regardless of breed. But I don't live there so idk
Hell yaaaaaa!!!! I own one and I Love this breed to death!
The most stunning dog
King of the canines
This is the real apbt, not bully, not blue nose
Blue nose is just the color, its still an APBT
@@AZ-gs6hj all real American pit bull terrier comes from a Game Stock Yard and have bloodlines. What dog man had a Blue Nose?
@@AZ-gs6hj first off there is no blue nose dog, that's a term made up by ignorant people. Second the pitbull terrier does not come in blue.. You're confusion staffs/bullies with pitbulls. Two different breeds. Please learn these differences, it's vital to stop the misinformation about these breeds.

Gorgeous dogs, it’s a shame how many bully breeds are labelled is pits. APBTs are truly unique
Such a awesome breed, I hate when ppl mislabel there "pitbulls"
I have one best dog I have ever had, and very good with children.
Best dogs ever!
They are great guard dogs, however americans are quite known for taking the great & legendary work done by the germans, british and just screwing it all up with turning the dogs into a bunch of show dogs not to mention the creation of that thing called a "bully".
Cannot agree more brother 👍🏻
Don't get me started.
@Harshid P exactly. They look like frogs that can't stand upright. I feel bad for the dogs
@@Michele_Back your talking about excotics not American Bullys
American Pitbull terrier is an American dog. And they do not make great guard dogs, because they've specifically bred to be non-human aggressive. It would take way to much training, and Anti-socialization to make them man biters. They can learn bite work, but that doesn't always transfer to the home front.
WORK THEM HARD TREAT THEM LIKE HEROES. Long life to the APBT!!
Can you do a review on the old English bulldogs?
Love American Pit Bull Terriers ❤️
Love your video man
I can't wait for my pit bull
Modline’s Knockout Wes is a fucking STUD!!!! Even at his age he is the EXAMPLE!!!!!
They’ve always been a family companion, even the ones that fought back then, facts 🎯🎯
Can you please make a top 10 breeds for first time dog owners?
Only the best people should own these dogs.
when my baby runs up on ppl they get frightened, little do they know he’s running to give them a hug 😭
I am! Please
Any recommendations on a kennel in Texas preferably ETX??
