- The river Ätran in the south of Sweden has a nice and healthy brown trout population. Early this summer Martin gave it a try during mayfly time. Lots of insects were hatching and the fish were keen on rising to the surface for some nice dry fly action.

I'm impressed at how these guys handle the fish. Not all the anglers on TH-cam are that gentle with these beautiful creatures.

Fantastic video, great fishing to some lovely brownies, what a fabulous stretch of water you have to fish, you can't beat the rise to a dry fly.

You produce the best trout fishing videos that I've seen. I love the variety of shots, with other wildlife mixed in. It certainly helps having a dedicated cameraman with great editing talents. Thanks for the continuing videos guys, I enjoy every one over and over and will so even more now that the snow has started in Western Pennsylvania.

You make the best fishing videos imaginable. Apart from the lovely photograph, you have appropriate music so the whole thing draws together so well. They are a delight to watch nun inspiring. I've only been to Sweden once and in winter. Next time I need the warm season. :-)

I came across onethat is used and bought it for $ 50.00 great shape and price.they do not make that particular cap anymore. So I consider my self quite lucky.thanks to you .tight lines my friend. Right, those where some great dags with my trusty Sage ZXL 490-4, fished with a Cortland #5 if I'm not mistaken. My feeling is that Cortland Lines are average to light in their respective class, many others are towards the upper limit or overwheight. Anyhow, the extra wheight helps in the close quarters of small to medium rivers.
The first trout: it looked exactly as in the other video called " trout drama"!
Compair them, They both have this "dent" in side on the right part of the body, behind the top fin!
Well Olav, it's unlikely because they were caught on the same day and a couple of kilometers apart. Furthermore the trout in Big Trout Drama is a lot bigger. Good observation though :) Cheers
