    It is as though you were dreaming. What a scenery!!! You are wading a small river with a most beautiful variety of hiding places for trout: you find one in one curve then find another still bigger in a different narrower stretch of water with lots of hanging trees covering it. One trout is superbly beautiful but then you catch another with more red spots...definitely a dream, especially for the lots of trees and the small winding wild river. It reminds me of the scenery the English writer Izaak Walton must have enjoyed in the pristine rivers of the XVII Century: pure spiritual bliss.
    It also reminds me of the Spanish Guadiana river of the early seventies when I was a kid and its water was abundant and unpolluted...lots of trees... and lots of coves in the river, then a pool, a current following... a variety of hiding places for fish and for the imagination of a keen juvenile fisherman.
    A superb video. Pure joy. May that beautiful Swedish river remain unspoiled for many years to come. And also the rest of places that are still pristine on our Planet Earth.

      Thanks Antonio. Very nice comment. Really appreciate it :) :) It's still possible to find gems like this but it seems that we humans are slowly destroying them all so it's best to take the opportunity while it's still possible. Cheers

    Nice fish guys and great camera work. That is a good size stream by my standard. Here in Carolina and Virginia we fish streams you can step across in places running through dense stands of rhododendron. Casting gets very creative!

    I fished a tiny stream for little 6-8” brookies most of the day when I hooked into a massive 5-pounder. I played that fish for what seemed like an hour before I brought it to the net. Yup.......it was a carp!

    • @CarpeDiemFlyfishing
      @CarpeDiemFlyfishing  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheEmiliodiaz In this video we use a #2 rod. That's a bit light, especially if it's windy. I would say a #2-4 rod is good for this type of stream. And pretty short because of all the branches. Maybe around 7,5 feet or so. Cheers
