Tom Simpson studied Art at St Kevin's College. He grew up on a farm in Tokarahi where he was surrounded by nature's beauty which greatly influenced his landscape paintings.
His Art Teacher, Peter Burton and local artist Burns Pollock were his mentors. Tom was self taught. He would empty the bookshelves in the Art Room, take art books home to study and then practice the painting techniques.
Tom has worked as an Animator, Storyboard artist, Matte Painter & Freelance Illustrator. He has taught classes in drawing and digital illustrations. Tom's work has appeared in publications and exhibitions throughout Australasia and the United States.
