St Kevin’s College is a coeducational Catholic College set on fifty three acres in beautiful Oamaru. Although it began as a boy's school in 1927, it has changed and developed over the years to meet the needs of an ever changing world, respecting tradition whilst reaching with courage towards the future.

Te Reo Māori Language Week 2024

SKC celebrates Te Reo Māori Language Week 2024 by asking our students to translate our fire values into te reo Māori. This year's theme is 'Ake ake ake - A Forever Language.' The 2024 theme represents the resilience, adaptability and endurance of te reo Māori and reflects the commitment to embracing and learning the language long into the future.

This week, 18th - 24th August, we celebrate Tongan Language Week 2024. The 2024 theme for Tonga Language Week is 'E tu'uloa 'a e lea faka-Tongá 'o ka lea'aki 'i 'api, siasí (lotú), mo e nofo-'a-kāingá - The Tongan Language will be sustainable when used at home, church and in the wider community. We had a great time chatting with SKC students and staff about Tongan culture this week! Enjoy!
