This album is more likely the chronological order of his relationship during the pandemic. He starts with face off which is him facing the person who broke his trust. Then like crazy which is his mind going back to the memories. Then alone where he is all depressed and alone after the breakup. Then lastly set me free where he wants to be set free from the emotions.
This song is so deep and full of meaning. The lyrics are coming from a place of a previous pain in his heart. Now he can let it out and let go, he's moving onto a better place in life. My God not only was his voice more than perfection but the meaning behind that passion of what he sang. Great job Jimin and whatever happened that cause all this heartfelt emotion I'm so glad you're past it now 💖💖💖
I don't knowif a person also was a part of this period of heartache & challenge for Mochi, but I do know he said he wrote this about the period of time when covid19 happened & quarantines of governments meant that almost ALL of their appearances & shows got cancelled. This happened right when BTS was at a peak of ability and success, a busy wonderful time for them. They were about to start a worldwide huge tour and they knew it was the last time they'd get to see hundreds of thousands of their worldwide fans for a long time; because they all knew what we did not yet know, that after that tour, they'd be doing some solo stuff & then they'd all have to go do their 2 years in the military...So here came covid19 to shut the world DOWN & it must've felt like the gods were kicking them down. They'd veen moving nonstop for nearly 8 years or more. When you LOVE what you do like these boys love performing/ dancing/singing/ being with their fans & hearing their cheering & singing along.with the guys, well, THAT was always the beautiful reward for all their hard work, getting that time to be with ARMYS, having fun & performing. He let us into his mind back then so we could se how hard that time was for him, itdid hurt their hearts I'm sure, but they hid a lot of their sadness from ARMYS cause they were concerned about keeping ARMYS spirits up during covid......Kings forever, our 7 Bangtan Boys are !!

Masterful song in every way, Jimin showing his talent & professional maturity. There's a good reason why he is a global star and idol. For the last year or so he seemed to be going through some heavy emotional things. The depth felt here seems more immediate & more about a relationship, but maybe I'm reading into it. How can we not speculate about what affects someone we love. I hope Jimin finds a way to leave the pain behind. It's so much worse when you are right in it. Things will be bright again.
