Toyota Europe put out this video celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Toyota Land Cruiser. It highlights several older models including the FJ25, FJ40, FJ55 and others.
Is there anything better than a 60s series? Except for the 40s utes I think not! Love my 60's series! The absolute beating they cope in my family (overheated engine due to radiator leak too many times to count on multiple Cruisers, oil level very low [gonna need a longer dipstick low], multiple trips of long highway driving, reckless teenager on dirt road driving, their paint and chrome trim making apparently tasty horse fodder...) the list just goes on! And they carry on like nothing ever happened... FEA - 1985 Desert Sand Flat Top (the trusty old beast I was heartbroken to see go) SDS - 1984 Sky Blue Sahara (the best travelling car you could ever have) OTA - 1983 Sky Blue Sahara (also known as Blue Beast - the hardiest 60s you could ever get) LH - 1985 Freeborn Red Flat Top (my future Cruiser, once it gets restored and outfitted :) )
