Just everything. Is so into horror action. Today's doom seems more adventurous action. Like it ain't even scary at all. They need to bring back the dark, thriller, action, horror back.
But... there was no real darkness in Doom before D3.
@@hansolo2797 doom 64 was good. In my opinion. Doom 3 was great (bfg and resurrection) This one. Theres few good ones. The recent 2 doom games was fun. But not like the few previous one. If they bring darkness with flashlight and stuff coop like doom 3. That would be dope.
Try out dusk. It has everything you said you want, i think is one of the best if not the best retro FPS out there
Seems like it's this time of the year when I'll be installing Brutal Doom again.
I would vote this as one of the best passion projects in gaming.
This is brilliant! Thank you so much for putting the download together
DUDE THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!! THE PREPACKAGE IS TOOOOPS!!!! CHEERS!!
Why is it within five seconds of any Brutal Doom video I'm just giggling to myself about how beautifully over the top it is, like it literally makes me glow instantly.
You "literally" glow?
@@brucebanner6127 He's really bright.
Looking amazing 🔥
of all the variants of doom gameplay, mods, and clones I've seen, this one actually makes me want to give it a try
Modding is what makes DOOM truly Eternal.
And now there is Prodeus which reminded me of this video. Amazing video still! :)
This is so gorgeous and amazing. It's pretty much an eye massage to fans of this classic gem 😆
This is freaking great!
God... this looks creepy as hell! I love it! I also laughed at the part 1:04 where it looked like the pinky was just about to get you, but then...
Also, 3:21 was a surprise. I didn't realize that Imps could jump slash like that, but it's cool because they look like they're built to be agile, so it's cool seeing their biomechanics being put to use well.
I have Doom 3 BFG Edition (which includes Doom and Doom 2) and decided to try this Black Edition version. I gotta say, it not as cool it seems in these videos. Because... it's so much better, it's freaking AWESOME! Thank you, RaZZoR! And I don't know if you're already rich and just having fun making these mods, but you'd definitely become rich if you'd create an original game like this.
I usually don't mess around with mod pre-packages but this one was pretty baller! I like how you dropped the GZdoom portable install in there so all you need is a retail doom wad to play.
I was twelve years old when doom came out I’m so blessed to have experienced all this you youngins live in a dark era of lameness and disease
To be honest this kinda just looks like a really good indie game.
I love the carnage and gore left behind after shootout 🥰
Man that's what I'm talking about I just love it the best one yet keep it up bro.
it looks so beautiful
I would pay full price for this game if it was ported to console.
This is amazing.
What a incredible game! Can't believe it's the good old Doom.
Many thanks for the links. I'm happy to replay this unforgettable game
This just looks awesome and indeed brutal, when I was a kid (90's) I used play doom along with my twin cousins, each one controlling part of the keyboard and mouse in the PC.
Thank you Mod's.
Holy crap I want more. Of this was ever released like this I would buy it for all systems. No wonder I loved Hexen so much XD
Omg, u know about Hexen? Well Doom & that game share some common developer roots too. Good shit
@@tomfly3155 Yes. It is my fav game as I had a 'rival' sibling that was way into Doom so I got into Hexen. But It's great too know they were so similar :D Id love too play it with those kinds of graphics some day XD
Whether as a doom game, or in some other form, I really wish I could play this on console. It looks SO good!
Last year I released a personal modified version of Brutal Doom to deal with the issue of Auto Aim targeting corpses on the ground and other decorative objects... it's very useful to have Auto Vertical Aim to play in laptops for example, it's how I'm used to play Doom... just goes to prove that we have the tech for such things, and they could be ported to console indeed (Unity 3D Engine has advantage in this case)
it's on Mod Db page
it's called Brutal Doom Weapons-Only
@@FeelingShred ughhhh I really really hope I get to play this at some point on console. It looks so good, I’d almost consider buying a gaming pc just to play it haha. Please don’t make me do that!
@@ummmidontknow You can get new "gaming laptops" for 400 to 500 bucks that will play this. Look into the AMD Ryzen laptops. If you can snag one used, even better. These Ryzen laptops will be able to play heavy games such as Cyberpunk and Elden Ring, to give recent examples. There's video of it.
8:33 Little speed demon, ain't he
Some of these modders are talented i wish more of them made original games in the essence of doom but with all their original ideas and they can also profit from it im sure theres gotta be a market for that. I d sure as hell would buy them
Absolutely amazing work. I wish someone would give Hexen 1 this treatment. My favorite game from that era, mostly because of the insane level design. I've never played a game since that has captured me quite in the same way.
This is fantastic! Doom 93 with lighting, Parallax mapping and all the fancy jazz! Completely changes how it feels. It's like a nice blend of '93 and '16 borrowing from each-other.
Also 8:20 Even those lil' GMod nextbot rascals found their way in. 😆
You should make a video with a step by step process for setting up doom/doomm II for this exact version of Brutal Doom.
I wish it was available for consoles
This is easily the best doom mod I’ve ever seen
except my lame gameplay and panic shooting
@@IIRaZZoRII still looks okay. I personally dont use heaD bobs but still facinating
Nice mod combo! Looks great :)
I was recommended this video. What did I just see? Awesome 👌
way better then most of the new games
God-damn, this looks good. Like DOOM how you remembered it kinda good.
There is a level of simplicity in the environment graphics that make it look REALLY appealing.
Are there any step-by-step tutorials on how to set this up?
Bump
I haven't tried this specific set of mods, but the procedure for loading up Doom mods is usually the same. You will need GZDoom, the source port used for these mods that extend the game engine's functions. Then you should just have to download all the mods and drag them onto the GZDoom executable to play. That's how I always did it lol. Mods are generally just .wad or .pk3 files, super easy to use.
I remember back in the day me and my friends would say "this game looks so real" XD
but why is it raining on Mars?
Dad-gum, this looks amazing. Commander Keen and Doom are what I cut my teeth on back in the late 80s early 90s when PC gaming first became a big thing. I am going to have to check this out. Looks like it is a huge graphical upgrade.
amazing work!
What order did you load the mods in? How are you making the walls so shiny?
Same question
added PBR to links, check it
@@IIRaZZoRII Thanks, that was missing !
pls remake this on steam deck
Cool. Doom eternal has lost dooms raw edge to me. It looks great, but it doesnt have the same feel.
Some parts of it looks more like a random MOBA FPS tbh. Bunch of colorful shit flying everywhere, sunny open areas, retarded demons, etc.
It’s kinda goofy looking to me
It's crap this is super
@@dr.angerous it lost the visceral gritty feel from the 90s.. oh well.
@@Keith-jp6jw alotta the monsters yeah. Look like chewed bubblegum.
Man this is so awesome. Great job on developing this.
why the fuck can't devs just make a game this good
This is what doom should be not a funny coloured gore fest, a true horror. A nightmare.... After all it's meant to be hell
I think you misinterpreted the theme of doom.
