i think itd be neat after the placings at the 5th round if yous had a non-competetive exhibition round in which you have significantly more time and are allowed testing to bring the final designs to their 'final' evolutions and show off the limits of the design strategies you each went with during the match. feels like itd tie things together in a fun way
Watching Kan chase scrapmans vehicle made me think of a challenge idea. Basically set something fast off across a flat map with a bit of a head start, then race vehicles you’ve made to catch it.
yea that would be cool, could be either a prebuilt "runner" vehicle or maybe they could even each build two vehicles, a runner and a catcher to include in the competition
As Moonbo was about to hit the barricade, I thought to myself: "You know, the top part of now looks like a pistol's hamm-". My thoughts stopped as I laughed seeing Moonbo shot out like a bullet. 🤣 🤣
So glad you're evolving your own creations and not just picking whoever comes first. Can finally start seeing something different than the same builds over and over.
I think the formula is: Heavy weight High mechanical multiplication Medium speed Slightly above level launch angle Also it would be good to have the seat disconnect early with a scoop behind it
I think that this video portrays how a lot of science experiments were made, especially in aeronautics x} You think of the "simple" theory, then you build your first proof of concept... And it fails dramatically. Then you spend the next attempts enhancing the initial concept while forgetting some of the parts that were functioning in the initial design. And then, after a few tries, you're starting to get the results you were expecting generations of your product ago and even if they can be slightly below your calculations, it still brings you a lot of joy to see your thing works. It also is how developing in general works, but especially in games.
I've been watching old scrap mechanic and trailmaker challenge videos and I got a cool idea but I suck at modding What if you had a ballast block to help make submarines in building games like this? The ballast block would work like this: it's fillable with water (but in reality the weight just gets adjusted) so in essence it transforms from a buoyant block to a sinking block. Like bubble blocks, ballast blocks would float by default but to sink, you need to add enough ballast blocks to overcome the natural buoyancy of your vehicle. For user friendly interactions, the ballast block has 3 settings: empty (float) full (sink) and neutral buoyancy where they automatically fill with juuuuust enough water to make your creations neutrally buoyant. Of course you can divide them for manual fine tuning and so on. And the center of mass would have a cool effect. Putting full ballast blocks under empty ballast blocks would naturally keep your submarine upright. It's a very niche idea but I think this would make a cool mod for anyone interested in making this a reality
Idea: Instead of hitting a wall, place sensors in line forming your starting point. Something like end zone pylons. Something tall that would activate the sensors on the end of your battering ram. Assuming that would get rid of the jankiness of running into a wall.
It's a Class 1 lever that, instead of operating like a seesaw as a normal catapult would, converts the impact and linear motion of the ram into the rotational motion for the catapult. When the ram hits the wall, it pushes back against the bottom of the lever, which causes the contraption to pivot. Because of the way Moonbo and Kan designed their levers, this created an immense amount of velocity in a very short time, sending them flying into the heavens.
@@Blaster_Unity_UB It's super neat because it uses the energy of an inelastic collision instead of tension or gravity. Definitely not how I would have thought to do it, but it worked fabulously.
Low-key miss the OG Scrap Mechanic vids (the 2020-2021 ones) but I get it, we all evolve to new things and I think it's good y'all are still playing* it but also exploring new horizons :) Man we are in 2023, time just flies...
I'd enjoy to see the if you each had one "steal" where at some point before the modification stage you could steal someone else's build and then make your own modifications to it yourself
Physics evolution. Like start at the highest and lower it down to 1 like 2 at a time. Maybe a short race or something. Make one vehicle and then try to race (or something else. Races in some regards are overdone)
Multiplayer Monday Idea: Create a "cow" vehicle where you hop in the seat, throttle up all the way, and then disconnect the seat to make a runaway vehicle. The three of you have to design a vehicle to chase down the "cow" vehicle and immobilize it. The person who does it the fastest wins.
Kan: Moombous vehicle does not even move, mine doesn'd seem to leave the wall, your just seams to go on a adventure, mean while the car does whelles in the same time Kan is trying to chase it 😂😂😂😂
Hey guys I want to know if its possible to create functioning Flying boats BUT using a Canard wing configuration. Can maybe be a challenge 😏 maybe even have an air battle between the airships afterwards 🤗
I have an MMM idea for you you guys trade builds with each other so you’re trying to sabotage each other’s builds or your build so then it doesn’t work for the other while trying to give yourself as much of a advantage like you each build each other a car to use but it Hass to be usable like maybe it’s slowly falls apart It’s an idea for the build or it gets more top-heavy
i like how moonbo goes from forgetting the engine twice to a literal railgun

They actually kinda did, if you watch scrapmans video of it, kinda odd that kAN didn't include it though yeah

That would be awesome
tthat would be a neat video

Level 1: negative scores
Level 5: M A X I M U M Y E E T
The early fails were hilarious, and I love how you guys just laughed and soldiered through them to exquisite results in the end. Very entertaining!
I just love that Moonbo got launched I just laughed hard and damn. I'm impressed by his build.
Moonbo's catapult is the definition of a sleeper :D
0:17 the casual diss at Scrapman’s creation got me 😁😁
I'm only half way through the video and this is already the best Multiplayer Monday I've seen in years!
You know this is trully a great evolution when the video it's half way and there's way more negative scores than positive 🤣
So glad you're evolving your own creations and not just picking whoever comes first. Can finally start seeing something different than the same builds over and over.
Way to go Moonbo!!! I love seeing him win because he's always so happy and wholesome no matter what happens!
This was great. Moonbo's last run was hilarious. Kan's had an expected trajectory. Moonbo not so much.
I think the formula is:
Heavy weight
High mechanical multiplication
Medium speed
Slightly above level launch angle
Also it would be good to have the seat disconnect early with a scoop behind it
definitely agree with the last one, to just prevent it from moving in the other 3 directions
Really loving the evolution videos!
Pretty bad, ScrapMan made it 😂
🤣🤣
Wedge power did not come through this time.
Dich
And then he ends up losing the challenge
That scrap man diss at the very beginning was so funny
Round 3 was…. Interesting. Now I want to see a challenge where you make a car that’s supposed to catapult itself on a hook like scrapman’s did. Lol

Damn, this whole episode was hilarious 😁
Quite the Kantraption 25:35 😁
That was a great idea
In round 5, kAN had a solid 11 SECONDS of airtime DAMN
15:19 I got dieing from this table turning scene 😂😂
I feel like the final round should have a 10 minute "make it the best it can be" round.
I've been watching old scrap mechanic and trailmaker challenge videos and I got a cool idea but I suck at modding

The mechanism of your and Moonbo's creation is fascinating. I'm curious about how it works.

@@jordananderson2728 pretty simple, of you ask me.

How about you combine these creations with your paper planes and see who can launch their plane the furthest, epic series btw keep it going
I made one inspired by yours and it launched me from the middle of the map to the world border xD

27:24 i can’t wait to see this from Moonbo’s perspective
Moonbo going Mach jesus on the 5th was funny
I loved this. absolutely amazing
The music for the building montage is like an angel singing
God I love MM, Thank you so much!!
I'd even enjoy 5 more rounds of this game.
You guys should have 3 attempts, i think testing going normal run then fast vs slow would made alot of diff in this evo
Suggestion: Use these kind of vehicles and
play boule with them
Mm idea make thin dart cars and drive them at a thin wall. Whoever glitches the furthest through the wall wins
This is epic
"this ones pretty bad ... Scrapman made it..." 🤣🤣🤣
Nobody:________literally nobody:_____kan's car: I CRAVE VIOLENCE!
I'd enjoy to see the if you each had one "steal" where at some point before the modification stage you could steal someone else's build and then make your own modifications to it yourself
nice video and I recommend you to play Catapult Legend
Love these vids

What a mess of an Episode
My teacher would have said
Well at least they were present

Moonbo go nyooooooom
lol those where great xD i wonder how yours would have done with a backboard?
You could try a hover craft evolution, say start with just 5 thrusters and move up from there.
Lol kAn placed the seat correctly then deleted it and replaced it so it is attached to the spud gun 🤣
now I want to try this with my advanced technique of overengineering and overcomplication
Could have tried dual plungers
nice one
imagine a setting on the engines that automatically stops the engine when a seat isnt connected
How about a MM where you have to wrangle runaway creations like kAN had to do with Scrapmans crashapult
Catapult Penalty kick !! using the same vehicle as goalkeeper n kicker!
Kan: Moombous vehicle does not even move, mine doesn'd seem to leave the wall, your just seams to go on a adventure, mean while the car does whelles in the same time Kan is trying to chase it 😂😂😂😂
too bad he didnt use the max evolution like scrapman did
Hey guys I want to know if its possible to create functioning Flying boats BUT using a Canard wing configuration. Can maybe be a challenge 😏 maybe even have an air battle between the airships afterwards 🤗
Kan, am I losing my mind, or do you need a playlist of the Multi-player Monday episodes?
What happened to the cool build music? Now its just like that on hold, ring tone commercial lol
wassup :)
Next idea for multiplayer Monday, truck trailer parking
Should have put wings on the seat to glide further
can yall do some like battle bots? like drills and saws and mounted spud guns? also i saw at least 3 different ways to improve the launcher lol
PLS DO EVOLUTION TO MAKE A LOGIC MISSILE! So all preset controls goals length.
Wow
Any chance we can bring back some of the fan favs of the mm sm races
Explosive tron boats
I wanna see a multiplayer Monday where you try to cheat
Im a og xD
You should do this again but launching a glider using the wings mod.
insert pewdiepie meme here "its like evolving...only backwards" lol
I just noticed hos timelapse music on the first one is the same a kallmekris's intro
I miss your guys survival series. You ever gonna go back to it?
Trailmakers when

Bread
Hi Moonbo, bye Moonbo
Is kAN just allergic to calling it a crash-a-pult
There's no such thing as consistency anymore.
what is your build music
i find it really calming
this ones pretty bad scrapman made it and no one acknowledged that huge dagger at scap
Hey kAN do you think a timer in the time lapse could be a good idea. Like how much time is left? I would like to see it
*MOONBO WITH THE LINE DRIVE
I Miss Moonbo
The math wasn't matin when that car flew
you should have went 3 more rounds here
That is why it’s bad scrapman mad it
the v in v2 stands for version
Thought video title was 'Catapult Carl' not 'Catapult Car!".
Carrrrrllll!
Scrap man vehicle with father than he did😆😂😂😂
Can you do a Rocketleague game on multi player monday
What is the name of the music?
does scrapman have autotune active or something he sounds wierd
If you want actual evolution you all build off the car that launched the furthest
