- Today's video is me continuing my Muse journey with reacting to the song New Born live from Wembley where Matt makes me want to quit guitar completely and I make up a potential stupid/big brain idea for my channel called Muse Mondays!!!

What I like about your videos is that they're not some big crazy production, like some of the others do. It's just you and the camera, no flashy editing or green-screened background. It feels candid and honest, and you actually have decent things to say about the music. I think in this saturated genre, people are a bit craving that more down-to-earth feel. That, and Muse reactions are basically 100% guaranteed to get you an audience regardless. :P

Those random noises comes from the MIDI touch pad built into his amazing custom guitar! He uses it to create and manipulate digital sound effects. Plus his guitar is equipped a kill switch, a fuzz pedal and a sustainer pickup to create those never ending notes and feedback!

For muse songs with fantastic bass I'd recommend hysteria live at wembley, time is running out at Glastonbury either 2004 or 2010, hyper music at pinkpop and darkshines at hullabaloo

I'm here for the Muse journey... they were at a point in time the best and I do mean the BEST band in the world!
I was in that crowd (been fortunate enough to see them live several times), I went from Portugal to London specifically to attend this show! (I got to stay a week to visit London because it would be madness not to do it but I went there because of the show!)
My favorite song of all time is one of their songs that I recommend you react to, it's a more under the radar music but it's an amazing song, all the rhythm changes, the lyrics, the name of the song even!! DarkShines... react to it! :)
And king of multitasking you say... then also react to Butterflies & Hurricanes also in this Wembley show!! Amazing!

As some have mentioned, Hysteria has a great bassline (considered one of the best in Rock history) . I'd go for the one in Wembley ☺️ One of my favourite performances of any of their songs is Bliss, @ Live 8 in case you want to check it. Great reaction!

Everyone reacts to Hullabaloo versions of songs. I've not seen anyone react to the Wembley one which I think is the best they have ever performed that song instrumentally and vocally nailed it. Its not rough round the edges like the Hullabaloo version
@@chrisburgess2432 It might be technically cleaner, but if we're going to clean we might as well tell him to listen to the studio version. I'll be happy whichever he decides to do, though.
As a few have mentioned Hysteria has a great bass line. I think you would like citizen erased (live hullabaloo), micro cuts(live hullabaloo) and I also think you would enjoy Invincible live at Wembley.

bliss live 8 or live at reading 2006 would be fantastic to see his high voice, butterflies and hurricanes (wembley) or space dementia for good piano and showbiz or muscle museum for great darkness. Love your reactions, keep it up

Suggestions: The Small print live at Earls Court 2004, Showbiz live at Glastonbury 2000, Plug in Baby live at Eurockeennes 2000 or Live at Rome Olympic Stadium, 2 very different performances, personally I prefer the 2000 version, but both awesome 🤘🏻❤️

A lot of folks will put a big water mark over the video, or drop the opacity down or flip the video so it’s backwards to help with it not getting blocked. Hope that helps!

See Muse live mate - just do it. I've seen them 3 times so far here in Oz and they super good. Live in Rome is a good one to pick songs from if you want the top notch audio production - Knights of Cydonia, Plug In Baby, Hysteria ... all of it really :) Having said that - it's all good, you can't really miss with any of the live stuff from any era.

Hey Markus. I’m really enjoying your Muse reaction videos. One of my favorite live performances of theirs is at Glastonbury festival where they perform showbiz very early in their career. You can just tell that they love what they’re doing and they go a little wild at the end which is half the fun. Check it out if you wanna.
I was there for that. I remember them falling on top of each other comically and then having difficulty pushing over the drum kit at the end.

U need to react to hysteria, great base line straight away hits u in the face, all there songs are great, u need to ride the muse train :) yes especially live, even there electronic stuff is great, u should listen to the handler by muse aswel :)
Don't know if you realize, but they got to half time in the chorus
You should pause a lot more, because thats how most reactors avoid getting blocked

This song is great but this isn't the best version of it IMO. Kinda slow and the mix feels a bit empty. The one at Glastonbury 2004 is the apex.
