same here. David Tenant is a mesmerising actor and Matt Bellamy an enthralling musician. I cannot contain my pleasure at their performances and how aesthetically pleasing they are to me. their love of their craft is evident in all that they do and I can't absorb enough of anything that they produce. even if it's something I never thought I'd appreciate they make it my new obsession.

He's a classical dude and most of their songs are influenced by composers like Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Berlioz, Lizst, etc. Some other heavy piano-based songs to check out are Piano Thing, Space Dementia (Pinkpop 2004), Butterflies and Hurricanes (amazing piano solo, Wembley 2007 version too) or Exogenesis (3-part symphony).
That Wembley concert was one of the best! I just wish it had some of their songs they put out since then - what a concert that would be! I was lucky enough to see them do their Drones concert in Seattle years ago and it was massively awesome. Thanks for all the Must and Dimash reactions. Love them both.

This is despite having mainstream audience/fan base, of course. But Muse should be consensual like Queen or Led Zeppelin and, as of today's, they're not. They deserve to be there, but of course this is not an issue for them haha

Fun fact: Matt Bellamy did not want to be a singer. In the early stages of their musical journey they were actually looking for a fourth person to join the band and do the vocals, but they couldn't find anyone good enough, so in the end Matt agreed to sing on top of everything else he did. One of the reasons why he didn't want to do the vocals was he believed his voice was not suitable for a rock band. Boy was he wrong...

Lee, I suggest you see Muse play Muscle Museum at Shepherd’s Bush Empire from 2017 for an example of the energy created in a smaller venue and crowd participation. The title of the song comes from the words which come before and after Muse in the dictionary.

I just binge watched all your muse reactions ha. My all time favourite band.. and weirdly I fell for them the same way you did, discovered and fell "into the rabbit hole" haha. On the album resistance they done a trio of songs - exogenesis 1, 2 and 3. There is a TH-cam vid where all 3 can be played back to back. All vert different, but I'd argue its the epitome of his song writing skills! Look forward to that eventually reaction 😊

I never noticed it before, but you are right. Matt Bellamy does look similar to David Tenant... actually it's kind of like if you mashed David Tenant and Chris Eccleston's faces together haha. Honestly I think they may be the best live band I have ever had the pleasure of seeing, and I've seen some elaborate stage performances from the likes of Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Rob Zombie, just to name a few. Muse have that classic rock icon feel that is almost non-existent nowadays. Bellamy has that Jimmy Page, Pete Townsend, Freddie Mercury kind of presence
