CE has the highest skill gap among all the Halo games. Took me many years to fully understand that. The game has so much depth and so much to learn. It's beautiful, really.
Is the hacker problem still as big as it was 10 years ago?
@@jcnot9712not really, most of the popular servers have admins monitoring so if they see a hacker they ban them right away

Same. I love quake and doom. But I wasn't a mouse and key guy until too late. Now i want that fresh 3 year period of a new arena shooter
I don't think Bungie had any idea the pistol was as powerful as it is, so they weren't adding more power weapons in order to balance the game. In CE basically all weapons are very powerful in their intended niche. This includes the Plasma Rifle which has the stunning effect on Xbox which was removed from all future iterations, and even on MCC CE it is much less powerful an effect as it is on Xbox where it is a much more effective stun compared to MCC. The sniper isn't a power weapon in CE, at least on the Xbox version, because of the decreased auto aim and bullet magnetism when zoomed in and none zoomed out compared to the Halo 2 sniper onward. On MCC of course you can use a keyboard and mouse which arguably makes it much more accurate and the AA and magnetism isn't necessary to make it powerful but on Xbox CE you use a controller where no scopes take much more skill compared to no scopes on controller on Halo 2 and on. Unfortunately the netcode in MCC variations of CE is terrible (you don't have to lead your shots a variable amount) compared to the Xbox version (on LAN) but at least it is decent online. This makes all the weapons feel completely different on MCC compared to Xbox. The only legitimate power weapon in CE is the rockets, which are on a 2 minute static spawn on all maps except Derelict. On Derelict the rocket spawn was supposed to be the flamethrower but when that got cut late in development they changed it to the rocket but neglected to change the spawn timer. The 45 second rocket spawn timer on Derelict is pants on head stupidity! That said thanks for your content and coverage bringing attention to CE for the masterpiece it is!
