For most of the year and last year as well. I was still in my trusty, reliable, and faithful Vapor 14 Elite. She isn’t the prettiest, neither the lightest or the latest and greatest. But it’s a boot I thoroughly enjoyed, and the model that I have bought most pairs of. I have like 5 of them, new and used. As the Mercurial Vapor loyalists that I am, of course I had to get the Vapor 15 when they came out. It’s a great boot, amazing if you can fit in them comfortably. I’ve had no issues with the MV15 for the few months that I have worn them along with the MV14. The upper is more pliable and slightly thinner. And the air zoom unit is a significant feeling that you can’t get anywhere else. It’s positively propulsive. From my perspective, I really have a hard time finding a reason to criticize them. The only other current year releases that I have acquired are the Phantom GX and Ultra Ultimate. I love the GX, zero issues out of the box. But for the Ultra Ultimate, it’s fine. But the heel feels a bit off. Like it the padding in the heel liner is positioned too low, creating a sense of pressure on my heel. Most other boots have the padding in their heel liners a bit higher up. It’s a shame, because the rest of the boot very good.
I lost my trust in Nike. I know it’s just a defect but when I got the new vapors, the inside lining started to peel off. I thought it was my sock bunching up weirdly at my toes. But figured out it was the shoe. To my surprise, with the money I got back I got the f50. Hands down my favorites. My go to. Just so scared of ruining them with use. But there’s so many good boots out there I’m sure I’ll be okay replacing lol
So after trying new things & their scores, would you say that you’re officially retiring the Hypervenom 3’s? (I know availability is getting more expensive & harder to find) would you say the GX’s may become your go-to’s as your top 2’s are limited editions 😂

The Mizuno alphas are one of the best looking boots I have seen in a while, might have to pick up a second pair to collect, but the price is really hard to justify considering they cost less than 200$ in Japan would much rather get a pair of GXs or Morelia II mij

That’s a good suggestion! I’ve actually tried the VKTRY insoles before and didn’t like how bulky they felt in shoe. It’s my own personal preference, and it’s been a while since I’ve tried them! Might give them another go 🤝

Ultra 1.1? That was a long time ago mate! The Ultimates are definitely closer to those than the Asics boots are - if you want a similar feeling, go with the Ultra Ultimates 🤝

Kangaroo leather is illegal in California, retailers won’t ship them mate. I encounter the same problem all the time

probably the furons because they are mainly a speedboot so if you want an aggressive style boot then you will want to go with those.
