Thank you DIY guy! I am a handyman idiot, don't even change the oil in my car. I got this Springwell system about 9 months ago and according to their literature I needed to change the filter every 6-9 months. Yikes!, it is time! I knew this was simple but nevertheless I know myself, I could screw something up. Watching your video, I dunno, 5 times, and then watching and pausing every step of the way gave me the confidence that I needed. Whatever youtube pays you isn't enough. You da man!, and I have liked and subscribed!
Thank you the compliment and for subscribing! It’s great hearing that this video helped! What else is I love is that you attempted this and were successful. Nice work!
Sorry chief, no! Springwell’s site states to change it every 3-6 months. I also confirmed this on an online chat with one of their reps. Leaving the sediment filter in for a year is flat our gross.
Just to drive this home: From the Springwell site itself “Model: SW5M10R2P. The Stage 1 Whole House replacement filter lasts up to 6 months” www.springwellwater.com/product/replacements/5-micron-sediment-filters-with-o-rings-and-lube-2-pack/
Thanks!
Thans for the support!!
