It only takes me forty minutes to drive to Tenby from my village but I'm ashamed to say I have only ever been twice but it is a beautiful place and well worth the visit
Plenty of cottages in Wales available for holiday rental 😊 Tenby is the far west coast.... plenty available down that way.... tiny single lane roads though. I love my home country, couldn't imagine living anywhere else its stunning imo And yes, there's always a few special properties for sale dotted about.... I even heard of a castle for sale recently 😂
In recent years tourism to this part of Wales has exploded and its putting a lot of pressure on local infrastructure, many of the beaches are now inaccessible during school holidays due to large visitor numbers, it was a well kept secret in the past with Cornwall being the default go-to for most brits but that secret is now well and truly out.
My Dad was born in Tenby in 1914. He lived there till he was 12 and then they moved to a city in the Midlands. He hated it so much that he ran away back to Tenby and camped on the Rectory Field (now a car park) till he was found. His parents moved back to Tenby for their retirement. I went on holiday there every year from aged 1 to 19. It is a wonderful and uplifting place. Dad's ashes are scattered off Giltar Point at the end of the South Beach. There is so much to see round Tenby and it also has the best Fish and Chip shops in the country! It also has the largest parish church in Wales where Robert Recorde is buried. Who he? You ask - he is the man who invented the equals (=) sign.
I have noticed on some channels that when people come over to the UK they miss Wales out and as you can see it has so much beauty and this is coming from an English rose. I spent many happy times as a child...then as an adult holidaying in Wales and have so many precious memories. Todays video was a lovely way to start my day so thank you ladies for taking us round Tenby with Tim.
I know am late but god, I just spotted this video trolling through TH-cam....and I love it, this is my home town Tenby Pembrokeshire....answer one of your questions, Tenby is full of local people....Tenby is part of the Pembrokeshire family....no matter where you go in Pembrokeshire is beautiful
I live in Tenby in my family's old house, retired here 15 years ago. I volunteer on St. Catherine's Island and I am on your video collecting the money at the bottom of the steps. Some questions you asked... How much are houses? Expensive! Tenby has been discovered by Londoners. The houses you see from the fort are more than £1 million each. There are cheaper houses but a lot are second homes or rented as AirBnB's so the cheapest are £250,000/350,000 plus. So to answer your second question there are plenty of places to stay and many hotels as well. The peak season is traditionally Easter to the end of September for visits but many people prefer staycations outside the season when Tenby is less crowded and prices are cheaper. If you come to Tenby come and say hello if you visit the fort.
Tenby is an amazing place, and a trip to Caldey Island is a must!! It’s a tranquil beautiful island. You really have to go there!! There’s a monastery on the island and the gift shop sells a lot of their hand made goods. There’s a perfumery as well and a tea shop. If you walk to the far side of the island you can watch seals on the rocks below. There is an amazing beach at Caldey too. You won’t regret visiting 😮
Yep Tenby is beautiful! I’m from Swansea and we have a holiday home in Tenby a couple of miles away from the town centre, so we are there every chance we get and we love it! Such a relaxing place. Caldey island is a trip you absolutely have to do, the beach is fantastic there and the island itself is amazing, I love it! But yes to buy a house in Tenby town is very expensive. Loved this video 👏👏 xx
Pembrokeshire is a beautiful county, it has 40 plus beaches. Tenby is a jewel ... but nearby Sandersfoot is lovely, Amroth is quiet .. so many lovely places. On your way to Tenby, you can stop at Laugharne (Carmarthenshire) and see the boathouse where Dylan Thomas lived! Don't rush the trip though - you'll leave and wished you'd stay a few days! X
I have lived in England for 60 years and although Tenby is only about 2 to 3 hours away I have never been there, You can bet I will be going soon thanks to your video. Thank you ladies for showing me my own country,
Its seems from the comments that Tenby is one of Wales' best kept secrets. The whole county of Pembrokeshire is lovely. Whoever owns the shop selling paint is making a good living. With best wishes from Wales.
As I grow older, my understanding of why my mother (who is born Welsh) chose to move back to Wales grows. My dad (who is English) quickly fell in love with it. I've been in Wales since I was four and the beauty of its towns ands cities like Cardiff still astonish me today.
Hi, i live in south wales about 2 hours away from Tenby and i can say that moving from england to wales is one of the best decisions i have ever made, I can say that wales is one of the most beautiful places i have ever been to in my entire life and now i'm lucky enough to live here, some people I've spoken to said its like the European versions of Canadas landscapes.
Have a caravan near Tenby and Live in Swansea with loads of space if you ever make it to Wales and need a free stay. Swansea is pretty much surrounded in amazing scenery being one of the greenest counties in the UK. Check out The Mumbles, Gower and just outside Swansea, the Brecon Beacons...oh and Joes Ice cream. As for South West Wales up to North Wales, there's just so much unspoilt quiet spaces. It is an un-appreciated gift to many living here at least in the summer. It's quite nice in the winter too!
There's another really nice place about an hours drive from Tenby called St David's. I believe its the smallest city in the UK, probably not even 2000 people live there. Lots of beautiful scenery
I love watching our cousins across the water watching our beautiful country. Happy St. David’s day. Tenby is fantastic place and in the summer very popular. There’s so much to see along that coastline that you will be spoiled for choice.
Just an idea, but maybe you could get a pinboard map of the UK, and pin all the places you want to visit when you're here, that way your subscribers can see, and make suggestions for nearby must sees, places to stay and easiest ways to travel between places. I can think of nothing worse than visiting somewhere then finding out there was something amazing just round the corner that you only find out about after you get home!
Most of us in the UK stay in Bed and Breakfast Hotels when we visit the seaside. Small, cosy hotels with a welcoming landlady, often family run, that provide Bed, breakfast and often an evening meal, communal lounge and bar. People keep returning year after year because of the friendly more personal service. You'll find many to choose from in every seaside town.
Definitely agree, simply amazing (and I'm Scottish). All of Wales is well worth exploring and walking. There are beautiful, spectacular gardens in both South and North Wales which are worth a day enjoying each, too! Bodnant (N), Aberglasney (S) and the National Garden of Wales (S), to name but a few (see Ggle). Don't forget a camera! Much of the UK is enjoying a great May/June fortnight of cloudless 18 - 24 C weather right now.
What a beautiful place , another location here in the uk that the Natasha and Debbie show has brought to my attention and l now want to visit , so thanks for another lovely show were you remind me with your commentary just how lucky we are to live in this beautiful kingdom
@@clarelawton4653 I'm actually from Saundersfoot, and like all kids from there ,I went to Tenby for school. . Mum lived there until she died. I would describe it as Tenby's boozy little brother. However, it's completely changed it's feel and demographic in the last 2 or 3 decades. Obviously, older locals can't afford to live there. The people who can are middle class, unfriendly, self cantered, tory voting wankers.
Oh Tenby is amazing. I'm lucky to live 2 hours away. The beaches along the west Wales coastline are one of the cleanest and stunning. You said Tenby correctly ❤
Tenby is lovely - go there most years - you can explore further west to st David’s - which is also beautiful; also saundersfoot--- there is a lovely walk from saundersfoot to Tenby across the cliffs - really lovely
As a Brit, I am learning a lot about the UK from the two of you! I went on family holidays as a child to North Wales, but I am totally unfamiliar with South Wales. Tenby is gorgeous! You are right - you would think it was somewhere abroad. After so many years going to Europe, there are so many stunning places in the UK which I now want to visit. In your video about holiday plans, you mentioned coming over during the school holiday period (which in England is 6 weeks from approx 21-25 July to first week of September). You do need to bear this in mind as accommodation will get booked up quickly during this busiest period.
Funny seeing you react to one of Tim's videos, I've been subscribed to his channel since its very early days. I've even had a holiday on the Norfolk coast because of him! But Tenby really is something else! I love it so much that I'm seriously considering moving there.
I work in Tenby and you need to book as early as possible as everything gets sold out very early. To answer your question it’s very hard for local people to rent a house as accommodation is generally used as holiday rentals.
I lived there for a year and a bit in 2007 for about £50 a week. I am local though and had connections. Now Tenby is getting more attention, it becomes increasingly difficult for locals to buy a house etc. Most move away for employment as it is the arse end of nowhere with nothing outside of seasonal work for the young, and maybe the building trades for the homes of the rich who move there. Once gone, you can't get back unless you live in your parents house.
My wife and I love Tenby. We have been visiting for a few years and it is really great on many levels. Plenty of restaurants and eateries, beautiful beaches and walking and an ideal base to explore more of Pembrokeshire, which is (mostly) a beautiful part of Wales. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is really beautiful. A visit to St Davids is a must see, and if you are interested in history then Pembroke Castle is worth a visit. However, a few words of guidance. It gets very busy during the school holidays - late July through to the start of September ( book well ahead if you want to eat out). The weather can be quite variable, so come prepared for sun, rain, hot and cold. Our favourite time is early July. A boat trip out to Caldey Island is recommended - a monastery dating back 1,500 years, it is now mainly a nature reserve with red squirrels and other wildlife. It’s only a 20 minute boat ride from Tenby and makes for a lovely day out. For visitors from, for example, the US, please bear in mind that it is a 4-hour (plus!) drive to Tenby from the western fringes of London. We live in Surrey and we break our journey for lunch in Chepstow, which is a destination in itself. The M4 through South Wales can get very very busy so don’t expect to be driving at 70mph! It’s worth it though 😎 PS: If you can book It, we can recommend the Ocean Suite at the Atlantic Hotel - a well hidden gem.
Tenby is lovely. One of the best places to get super fresh fish and chips or any sort of fish dish. Another place with the nice pastel coloured buildings. Its the sort of picturesque town youd see a nice picture of on a tea towel or something 😅
Tenby is the jewel of Pembrokeshire if not Wales, there is one or two issues I found, trains could be more in the summer months, also roads improved if riding on bus to Pembroke your bottle of milk is cheese by the time you get there.
Hey ladies! Tenby is an amazing place to visit all year around. You could stay in a hotel or b&b in Tenby . It’s a bit expensive and books up quickly. You could also stay at saundersfoot near by. There are also many camp sites where you can hire a mobile home! With all the comforts of home. You can also stay for free with moi if you wish I don’t live too far from Tenby , under an hour’s drive away. Tenby is very touristy in Summer but there are locals living there. What wasn’t mentioned in the video that is a must to take the boat ride to Caldey Island. Caldey is home to a monestery. The monks are still at the monastery. They make their own wine and beer which can be bought. They have gift shops with their gifts and souvenirs. Hope this gives you some more info . Take care x
Hi! What a gorgeous video - I'm Welsh and it's been many years since I visited Tenby - might have to rectify that soon. Of course this was made all the more gorgeous by the sunny weather - that's not always the case in Wales, we are famous for our rain. The sea would be fine to bathe in on a hot day, but off season it would get quite cold. If you like castles, you must spend some time in Gwent, on the Welsh border with England. the land was so contested there, that there are more castles than anywhere else in the uk. Pretty much every town has one - some in far better state of repair than others. Some of the more impressive castles to visit in South Wales are Chepstow Castle, Raglan Castle, Caerphilly Castle, Pembroke Castle, Castel Coch & Cardiff Castle (the last two are modernised somewhat - both were renovated and redesigned in the victorian era, and their interiors are absolutely astounding - a must see, if you love Victorian art and opulent stately homes). If you do stay near Tenby, I'd recommend a trip to Bannau Brycheiniog (the Brecon Beacons national park), and a visit to the Henrhyd Falls, where you can stand behind a 90ft waterfall, Llangorse lake, Brecon Mountain Railway where you can take a ride on a steam locomotive, and the Welsh National Showcaves at Dan yr Ogof. We do have some absolutely beautiful areas in South Wales. As I'm part Cornish, it would be very remiss of me not to mention Kernow (Cornwall) as another area of beauty, with must-visit places. Mevagissey working harbour, the Roseland heritage coast are still fairly unspoilt, though tourist season can see the area packed with people. mid-late September is probably the best time to visit there, as the weather is usually still good, but many of the tourists have gone. I look forward to hearing more about your planned trip, sending you best wishes from Wales.
You can't beat a Tim's video's for information..he's a top TH-camr..he inspired me to go to Llandudno last year with my 9 year old daughter after watching his video...Now we're going to Tenby this August too for the same reason!! Love your videos and genuine honest reactions too..I think stunning is your favourite word 😅 we can't wait to go
Tenby and the surrounding parts of South Pembrokeshire are so lovely. We go down as often as we can as a family, you never get bored of it. It is actually in the far South West of Wales, so is a bit remote, but that is good as apart form the main holiday season it is never too busy. There are loads of hotels or self catering accommodation in the town or just outside.
The Fourcroft Hotel was turned into apartments quite a few years ago. I live about 5 miles away from Tenby. It’s absolutely beautiful and Caldey Island just a short boat ride away is fantastic.
@@TheNatashaDebbieShowHe’s wrong, I checked 2 days ago and the exterior is just as it is in the video, the overgrown garden has been cleared now however. The hotel was bought (sorry you’re too late) and work has started (from December last year) so it is going very slow for some reason.
There are loads of hotels in Tenby. The walks around Pembrokeshire are amazing. When he mentioned Worms Head, that is at the end of the Gower Peninsula, which is 3 counties away, and Cornwall is in a different country (England). There are so many wonderful things to do in Wales and especially in West Wales.
I spent many happy times in Tenby as a child, I loved the zoo on top of St Catherine's Rock (the rock gets cut off from the beach when the tide is high), and spending hours with family on the beautiful beaches. Wales is very temperate and usually warmer than most of the UK due to it's position, hence the amount of tropical plants that are able to grow here.
I stayed in Tenby on holiday a few years ago. You need to watch a video if there is one of Caldey island it has a beautiful monestry and sometimes you see the monks it’s amazing
Loved Tenby, wandered into a pub and the landlord said 'Aw, we're not open for another hour.....would you like a drink while you wait?' - They're very friendly in Tenby, brilliant. Love Debbie's 'We can buy that'. I'd definitely pick end of May/June for your trip over - the weather is likely to be good & it doesn't get dark till gone 10.30pm in Scotland, perfect for sitting by the side of a Loch. All the gardens & parks will be in full bloom. Yes, the sea is cold, it's always cold. When booking accommodation don't overlook Caravan Holiday Parks - you can rent a self-catering static caravan/lodge for a good price and within easy reach of lots of stuff to see and do.
I hope you're coming to the UK between June, July or August, ladies. These places always look 10x better in the sunshine. Towards the end of June into early July is probably your best bet.
I love Tenby. In fact the whole of the Pembrokeshire coast which it is situated on is stunning and varied. I definitely recommend you watch more videos on this area e.g. The cathedral in St Davids, Pembroke castle (which is a lot more intact than Tenby"s), pretty Solva and the rest of the amazing coast.
Being a south Walien? Tenby & south west Wales were a favorite holiday destinations. I camped all round the area with my family as a child, we had school trips to Tenby...because its gorgeous. Ive done numerous camping trips with my daughter. I feel so blessed, live near Swansea with the Gower peninsular 10 mins up the road with access to this beautiful area. You must come here, stop off at Swaneea/Gower on your way? Thank you for check7ng out the South...we do get a bit ignored. Love you girls love & light 💜🏴🌻
it is a beautiful place with lovely people! go July through August for the best heat, it's rarely too hot in the UK and the sea breeze is always cooling. Pembrokeshire is my favourite part of Wales which is where Tenby is, it's very beautiful all over. A very special place! Just remember London is obvious the real beauty of the British Isles is in places just like Tenby, when I was young we never went abroad as my Dad wanted us to understand the country we lived in. There are so many idyllic places.
There are gems like this all over, like Scarborough it's very hilly and that no doubt deters those who don't like walking or hills... Lincolnshire is flat, that's why it's popular... I'm guessing Wales has other flatter coastline which is far more popular too... I must admit I've never heard of Tenby... But I have heard regular reports of beautiful coastlines in Wales...
Manorbier five miles down the road from tenby has a castle with holiday lets inside , you can stay in a real medievil castle and the setting is amazing ....
The coach house in Pembroke is a nice place to stay. You can catch the train to Tenby. About a 20 min ride. Plus Pembroke castle is the birthplace of Henry V11.
Ok Tenby is simply amazing! I would happily retire there, take my guitar down to the beach and write music all day. 😎 It just looks like an inspiring place to live. The coloured buildings were really cute. Gob smackingly stunning!! 😍 I really enjoyed this, thank so much N & D ❤
Nice to visit but they do not like outsiders a lot of the families are old Tenby like the one I am married into I am Carmarthenshire that too is a great county to visit too as the king did have a house there in a village just outside Llandovery if you like castle Wales has a lot of them
If you want a nice place to stay and that is reasonably priced, I recently stayed in a flat in the building to the left at 8:08 in your video for a long weekend and it was fantastic with great views over the North and Harbour Beaches and the apartment was kitted out extremely nicely. I live in South Wales and can say that you will pass lots of lovely places to see when on you are on your way west to Tenby.
There are some stunning places in the UK, and they look even better when the weathers great, but when it's cold, cloudy, windy, and pissing down with rain, they aren't so great. Having lived in the uk for 65 years, my advice is visit during the summer, July and August is the best time.
I live in Oxfordshire, which is a nice area in itself. My younger sister lives near tenby, so i get to visit her and enjoy the area on a regular basis. Wales is really picturesque and well worth a visit.
Love Tenby. It still has an actual monastery with Cistercian monks. I think they make their own produce for sale. Or at least did when I was last there.
I live a couple of hours from Tenby and I had no idea it was this pretty. It really does look Mediterranean in the sushine. Well worth a nose (which just means a look, as in being nosy). Oh and you do realise you have tons of UK followers and when you come here I suspect you'll be occasionally recognised and welcomed with delight. I mean I'm definitely going to visit Tenby, but I'll just be another ice-cream-licking bloke in a hat. There's a chance that when you do, they'll carry you everywhere in chairs.
Used to go there on holiday when we were young. Climbed up the rock on North Beach many times. Seem to remember there were diving boards on it. Pembrokeshire as a whole is a jewel.
Love your videos Debbie and Natasha! Just one warning about visiting Britain - the vagaries of the weather. Tenby and any other place looks much better with a blue sky overhead. I'm a 'senior' now, but we used to go often in the summer to Tenby and only have happy memories. We stayed at a superior type Caravan park just further down the beach from the town, went with our friends when their kiddies were younger, including our own young son. The beaches are as good as they look here. One year we could not stand on the beach with bare feet because the sand was so hot! In a later year we stayed at a large hotel on the South Beach opposite beautiful Caldy Island, and our large corner window took in the gorgeous view. When we had arrived though it was blowing a small gale and raining. The next day it was warm and wonderful for walking. Just remember the tip about the weather. Pembrokeshire (its English name) is the county and is green and not so mountainous as some part of Wales. I'm English, but I give high marks to Tenby and other places in Pembrokeshire. Wales has great beauty - but the weather can sometimes let you down. As long as you remember that, I hope when you visit Britain you are rewarded by good weather. (I personally love our weather, it suits me with all its changes and variety). Hope this is helpful. You are great.
im so glad to see our friends from across the puddle enjoying wales having lived here for 54 years i love it here in the summer we have some of the best countryside we really do oh btw average house cost in temby is about $283,000 dollars i hope you do visit and enjoy yourself in wales
Debbie and Natasha, you must watch some videos of The Gower Peninsula, South Wales, the scenery is spectacular!! The countryside with numerous beaches and bays are simply stunning. The peninsula is apparently 19 miles long.
I love Tenby. On a day like the one in the video, there aren't a lot of places in the UK that are more picturesque. This really should be on your list of places to visit.
Because we try and keep everything past Swansea a Secret lolol just because we have bigger beaches than Cornwall and better Surfing as well we of course would keep it a secret lolol
My parents used to take me and my sister to Tenby when we were children, only 1:30 hour drive from my home, haven't been for years, after seeing this video I wonder why?
I'm Welsh so I'm a bit biased, but Wales is THE most beautiful country, and Tenby is one of the beautiful hidden secrets of Wales. When I was a child we holidayed there every year for about 9 years straight because there is so much to see and it is so beautiful...I still haven't seen it all and plan to go back there again soon.
i work in wales, and i'm always amazed with the costal views just as you pass abagele on the A55 cominig from liverpool. the views of deganwy, the little orm and great orm are stunning in the early hours....you have to see to believe.
My favorites mujeres hermosas my husband always ask me why I am so in to TH-cam and is because of content like this. but thanks to this I meet you and don't whant to let you go, great job mujeres hermosas, I can't wait for every video you post. Big hug from Spain.
I live an hour away and it’s a lovely day out for us. Great crab and seafood from the little shop near the castle gardens. Don’t miss out on visiting the medieval Merchant House. ❤ Loads of flats and houses to rent in Tenby itself. I like the Atlantic Hotel above South beach. Great views 😊 Do go on a boat trip to Caldey Island where there is a monastery and a pretty little ancient church.
Loved this video. I have spent many happy times in North Wales, but (to my shame) haven't been to the South. I have got the Gower Peninsular on my list, but now Tenby is on it too - thanks. Maybe you would be interested in the Brecon Beacons National Park, which is also in the South. Love from UK.
West Wales...it's like Cornwall without the crowds. Beautiful and ancient. The church at Navan has bleeding yews as well as fragments of Celtic carved stonework in its construction. A little path at the back leads to a hermits cave with the stone hollowed out from knees that have knelt at the entrance. Stunning area.
Me n my husband went to Wales for the first time last year in Aug and went to Tenby amongst other towns. We were absolutely blown away by Wales and in particular, Tenby! Its a stunning Town! You would love it! I would love to live there
My favourite is Caldy Island twenty minutes on a boat from Tenby, Caldy island is something else has a magnificent monastery on there home made chocolate etc and stunning beach etc.
Visited Tenby in early January this year, and loved it. Really loved it. Stay in the old centre near the harbour if you go there, its so unique. Enjoy.
A lovely area indeed, I used to occasionally go to Saundersfoot camping which is the next village down the coast from Tenby. It's a shame he didn't show the lifeboat station, it's open to the public and well worth a visit.
The colourful houses overlooking the water are very expensive, more so than inland. There are places to stay, book ahead or you could stay at maybe St Davids and drive to Tenby for the day
All thanks to the Gulf Stream and the Jet Stream without which the UK would be like Canada. If you travel near Liverpool you may want to have a look at Port Sunlight village on the Wirral. William Lever built the village in 1888 for the workers of his Sunlight soap factory to give them a better quality of life. The Lever Bros company became Unilever.

Only reservation about visiting Wales, like most of the UK, is the weather. It's rains a lot in Wales. Catching a day like this is rare
Has this hotel all gone down hill because of Covid?
The monastery on Caldey used to have a guest house, but I don’t know if it still does?
I've been to that monastery, and eaten their home made chocolate. Fantastic experience.
Watching the tide coming up into the estuary from the boathouse where he did his writing must have been inspirational. I've never forgotten it.
My family are actually staying at Saundersfoot this week x
I love St Davids, beautiful spot. Im Aussie, spent 12 months there, just too cold
yep, been there like 15 times, loved it every time - (also great for dogs)
I love watching our cousins across the water watching our beautiful country. Happy St. David’s day. Tenby is fantastic place and in the summer very popular. There’s so much to see along that coastline that you will be spoiled for choice.
Just an idea, but maybe you could get a pinboard map of the UK, and pin all the places you want to visit when you're here, that way your subscribers can see, and make suggestions for nearby must sees, places to stay and easiest ways to travel between places. I can think of nothing worse than visiting somewhere then finding out there was something amazing just round the corner that you only find out about after you get home!
That's a great idea but they would need a lot of pins cos we have so many awesome places to visit👍👍
Yep great idea 😂
its always the way just want to see this!
Thank you for your beautiful words! ❤❤
Tenby is such a great place to visit. I have been so many times but I still enjoy going there.
One of Wales's gems, absolutely stunning !✨🏴♥️
You said it and we couldn't agree more!
Nearby Saundersfoot is wonderful too 💕
@@clarelawton4653 I'm actually from Saundersfoot, and like all kids from there ,I went to Tenby for school.
@@TheNatashaDebbieShow please check out the mumbles in Swansea you’ll love it 😍 ask Catherine zeta jones she has a house there ❤, Swansea is fab !!!!
Morning ladies! What an beautiful video. Tenby has now added my list of to gos. What a beautiful town. Thank you for showing us this 🥰
We are in LOVE with Tenby!!! So glad you feel the same! ❤
@@TheNatashaDebbieShow I hope you are planning to go to Warwick Castle. Warwick is my old hometown btw.
We used to go to tenby for our holidays, Best place to visit
It’s worth it though 😎
PS: If you can book It, we can recommend the Ocean Suite at the Atlantic Hotel - a well hidden gem.
Was here in the summer last year, absolutely gorgeous. Found some volcanic rock on the beach that I still have.
Love your videos and genuine honest reactions too..I think stunning is your favourite word 😅 we can't wait to go
If you are comeing to Tenby from Cardiff be sure to stop at St Fagins
Tenby and the surrounding parts of South Pembrokeshire are so lovely. We go down as often as we can as a family, you never get bored of it. It is actually in the far South West of Wales, so is a bit remote, but that is good as apart form the main holiday season it is never too busy. There are loads of hotels or self catering accommodation in the town or just outside.
Just hope you have good weather , everytime we have visited Wales its rained !
Same here.
The Fourcroft Hotel was turned into apartments quite a few years ago.
I live about 5 miles away from Tenby. It’s absolutely beautiful and Caldey Island just a short boat ride away is fantastic.
This video was filmed just a year ago...hmmmm
@@TheNatashaDebbieShowHe’s wrong, I checked 2 days ago and the exterior is just as it is in the video, the overgrown garden has been cleared now however. The hotel was bought (sorry you’re too late) and work has started (from December last year) so it is going very slow for some reason.
Always travelled to Tenby on the train from Swansea on a bank holiday growing up , it's a lovely place to visit and you won't be disappointed.
At this rate Debbie and Natasha, your podcasts will be encouraging many Americans to visit the UK!!
Proud to be welsh and british tenby beautiful town almost Mediterranean in summer months enjoy
I stayed in Tenby on holiday a few years ago. You need to watch a video if there is one of Caldey island it has a beautiful monestry and sometimes you see the monks it’s amazing
This is one of the best produced videos done to show off a location.
Yeah but don't tell the english who go to packed tiny cornish beaches, mums the word 😁
I love Solva. So picturesque.
Just got back from Tenby only yesterday, its so lovely, think you will love it,nice places to eat ,with plenty to do .
Having been brought up in Milford Haven not far from Tenby we used to love holidays there. I would love to go back next year.
Manorbier five miles down the road from tenby has a castle with holiday lets inside , you can stay in a real medievil castle and the setting is amazing ....
Yesss!!! Thank you ❤
Manorbier is so pretty, also need to mention that the castle overlooks the beach!
The coach house in Pembroke is a nice place to stay. You can catch the train to Tenby. About a 20 min ride. Plus Pembroke castle is the birthplace of Henry V11.
Yes I stayed there for a week and at night we had the castle to ourselves!
Another great video ladies. I have never been to Tenby but I know people who have and they love it.
Nice to visit but they do not like outsiders a lot of the families are old Tenby like the one I am married into I am Carmarthenshire that too is a great county to visit too as the king did have a house there in a village just outside Llandovery if you like castle Wales has a lot of them
You should absolutely visit west Wales, Tenby is one the loveliest places but there is so much to see and loads of places to stay x
Another great video sun sea and bliss thank use so so much for another great video use ladies rock love use ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Thomas! Be sure to go watch Tim's original video and give a Like 👍🏻
If you want a nice place to stay and that is reasonably priced, I recently stayed in a flat in the building to the left at 8:08 in your video for a long weekend and it was fantastic with great views over the North and Harbour Beaches and the apartment was kitted out extremely nicely.
I was brought up in Tenby during the 70s, I absolutely loved it, spent many a day playing on the beach and around the harbour
I live in Oxfordshire, which is a nice area in itself. My younger sister lives near tenby, so i get to visit her and enjoy the area on a regular basis. Wales is really picturesque and well worth a visit.
Tenby is adorable. I spent several days there on a trip to Wales a few years back. I'd love to go again but it's 12,000 miles from where I live! 🙂
Love Tenby. It still has an actual monastery with Cistercian monks. I think they make their own produce for sale. Or at least did when I was last there.
Yeah, what he pointed out was the temple. The light house is further around. Such a lush walk.
You are great.
im so glad to see our friends from across the puddle enjoying wales having lived here for 54 years i love it here in the summer we have some of the best countryside we really do oh btw average house cost in temby is about $283,000 dollars i hope you do visit and enjoy yourself in wales
we have a LOT of secret places like that, for a small island you have all these and more
Im off to Tenby in late september making it my first trip into Wales and watching Tim's video made me decide.
So excited you're coming to see our beautiful country, the BIGGEST welcome ladies ❤️
I am so proud to be British as the UK has some stunning scenery and locations.
So many castles and beaches in Wales. You need to see the whole country to appreciate it. 🏴
Every time I see your videos you teach me more and more about my country never heard Tenby but definitely on my to do list well done girls 👍
One of my favourite places in all of Britain. But like all seaside towns in winter, Tenby can be quite bleak.
Agreed. My parents grew up there and in the winter the town basically shuts down.
i work in wales, and i'm always amazed with the costal views just as you pass abagele on the A55 cominig from liverpool. the views of deganwy, the little orm and great orm are stunning in the early hours....you have to see to believe.
My favorites mujeres hermosas my husband always ask me why I am so in to TH-cam and is because of content like this. but thanks to this I meet you and don't whant to let you go, great job mujeres hermosas, I can't wait for every video you post. Big hug from Spain.
Wilson ❤❤
I live an hour away and it’s a lovely day out for us. Great crab and seafood from the little shop near the castle gardens. Don’t miss out on visiting the medieval Merchant House. ❤
Loads of flats and houses to rent in Tenby itself. I like the Atlantic Hotel above South beach. Great views 😊
Do go on a boat trip to Caldey Island where there is a monastery and a pretty little ancient church.
Tenby is a beautiful seaside town and is also very close to St. David's, Also well worth a visit! A good choice!
Born and bred 50miles from Tenby went there few times a year amazing place
Loved this video. I have spent many happy times in North Wales, but (to my shame) haven't been to the South. I have got the Gower Peninsular on my list, but now Tenby is on it too - thanks. Maybe you would be interested in the Brecon Beacons National Park, which is also in the South. Love from UK.
🏴do you think it's a good idea to suggest kiln Park caravan park as a place to stay??
West Wales...it's like Cornwall without the crowds. Beautiful and ancient. The church at Navan has bleeding yews as well as fragments of Celtic carved stonework in its construction. A little path at the back leads to a hermits cave with the stone hollowed out from knees that have knelt at the entrance. Stunning area.
"Without the crowds" 😂😂😂😂 I live in Tenby, its horrendously busy in the summer
@@pmcommando Good point! But the wider coast was what I had in mind. I really should have been more specific.
Me n my husband went to Wales for the first time last year in Aug and went to Tenby amongst other towns. We were absolutely blown away by Wales and in particular, Tenby! Its a stunning Town! You would love it! I would love to live there
Great video ladies. Tenby is a beautiful place.
My favourite is Caldy Island twenty minutes on a boat from Tenby, Caldy island is something else has a magnificent monastery on there home made chocolate etc and stunning beach etc.
Morning everyone, hope you are all well x
Visited Tenby in early January this year, and loved it. Really loved it. Stay in the old centre near the harbour if you go there, its so unique. Enjoy.
If you visit Tenby, it's worth heading round to the cardigan coast to Aberteifi. It is a beautiful town and has a castle 🙂
LOL Every town has a Castle in Wales except where I live we have five to six within a mile or two??
I love it so much when birds get mentioned your perk right up Natasha haha : )
A lovely area indeed, I used to occasionally go to Saundersfoot camping which is the next village down the coast from Tenby. It's a shame he didn't show the lifeboat station, it's open to the public and well worth a visit.
As a kid, I always thought that Saundersfoot was next to Felixstowe ("Saunders' foot" and "Felix's toe"). How wrong I was!
Stay at Tenby often ,rent an apartment overlooking the harbour,up that little lane with the pub, absolutely gorgeous place
