The benefit of the electric reel is to keep steady pressure on the fish so it doesn't come off, isn't it? I'm new to electric reels, why pump and wind with the electric flipping the switch on and off?
not exactly....it benefit is to sub the Man Power handling of reeling a heavy long line...and fighting a big fish at the same time! ... to answer your question ...keep steady pressure on the fish is call tight line...pumping and reeling is speeding up the process a little. great question...thank you for watching
