Yeah it's weird how the Soulslike enemies becomes a lot easier when you're NOT piloting a braindead zombie with arthrithis. Nice moves, you made it look very cinematic! Edit: Godlike transition at 2:26 btw!
@@Terralventhe Yep, you gotta be locked into every action you do, no matter how small. People call it animation commitment and that it's good because it "forces you to think before you act". I call it: Lazy ass animators that ensures you cannot adapt as you fight and just forces you to trial and error a battle until it's engrained into your nogging.
Complaining about Souls' player character responsiveness under a VR video where player characters take 10 minutes to make a 360 is pretty ironic. If this was an actual Souls boss with the same animations and dmg scaling it would be borderline impossible to beat.
VR is the only experience that makes me want to start real life training for whatever game im playing. Im out here thinking about joining a boxing gym. Getting flying lessons. Driving lessons, and learning to fight with different types of weapons, lmao.
Yes, yes! Moar! This is great, I love the exaggerated slow movements and low acceleration that make you and your opponents commit to each movement. Glorious and action and reaction. Also fight right here 2:08 is a prime example of why a coif and then a helmet was the first piece armour people acquired back in the day, because they bloody worked!
I've always loved your vids dude, this one as well. But I can't help it. Where's my music, I composed for this game😭😭 haha no worries, still Cinematic as hell
I'm so sorry!!! The boss fight actually has a few hidden cuts where I use footage from different attempts, abrupt cuts in music would have been very jarring, so I had to add music later during editing. I honestly loved the music work in the game! Especially during this fight so I really wanted to use it but I could not find it anywhere on TH-cam. It must be very frustrating to put in so much work but not have it recognised, my apologies 🙏🙏🙏
Fun fact, kite shields with a more pronounced pointy bit were usually worn point up, rather than point down. Reason was so you can utilize the point in battle.
@@Jack-yo2bcI think historically they preferred to alter the shape for both aesthetic reasons and it would lower the overall weight rather then forging an additional spike, though I can definitely see some smiths doing just that
Amazing gameplay as always. How are you doing so much damage per swing? When I play this game the enemies seem to just be big sponges that I have to knock down and beat until they don't get up. Even playing the knight class, purely damage upgrade levels, and with headshots.. very unsatisfying.
Gotta go slow. Watch his moves and how he’s not just throwing his arms around like he’s convulsing. It favours using a weapon like it has real weight and moves like it would in real life.
you should try enhanced difficulty in blade and sorcery. basically enemies throw more jabs and are much smarter than previous ai. also that attack at 0:39 look very suspiciously similar to one of the bosses in BT 🤨
so that's how you're meant to play them
finally a HEMA practitioner played this game, I'm so happy
Glad you liked it! I couldn't apply much to the boss fight, but it worked quite well on the standard enemies :)
@@interestingameplay It was very satisfying to see your movements in both

SEKIRO
@ Yeah, Sekiro ain't a soulslike though, quite different combat system. From what I can tell, significantly more skill based and action packed
@@Yorikoification So is the main requisite of a Soulslike just that your character has to be incapable of basic movement?

The king of vr finally uploaded
A yes a *magic mace*, key to any European Martial Artist's arsenal.
Among the greatest gaming experiences yet made. 10/10.

I already know bro cooked, he always cooks
Knowing how to fight in a game is one thing. Body acting in VR is an entirely different thing
Thank you for hopping on Grimlord!! One of the best boss fights ever 😊

This man made the only good video for this game everyone else is struggling love it tho
its official.. gaming has reached the PEAK!
You indeed know how to fight. Epic as hell
Thanks!
Shit, I might have to hop back in. I don't remember any of the bosses in the early access being this cool
Sick, I just got this game yesterday and it’s dope!
battle talent got updated with flying sword you can control and the kirck hammer from bloodborn with the power of god imbued into it
Ooh it's been a while since I've played BT, I'll check it out
🔥🔥🔥
The moment i saw you use the round shield and short sword i was immediately reminded of For Honor Warlord, i fight that way in Blade & Sorcery 🤣
Fun fact: the Royal Swords, Spear and Axe can all take enchantments. you're welcome.
What’s an enchantment?
HEMA would be pretty neat if your sword shot beams of light with a good swing
It'd definitely be more popular haha

is it just me or did bro have his shield upsidedown?
No that's just how it is haha, I was confused too

@@Ben.Ale1246 fair point but I'd rather have a spike added in top then have materiel take away to make the shape

Dark Souls в Vr... Этого моя психика точно не выдержит
Dude Battle Talent just added Excalibur and a telepathic sword that you can use as a floating surfboard, you need to get back in there stat!
Please play behemoth vr
Now this game looks good…

Holly Yikes, this is amazing!
I wished the damn wmr controls issue was solved already.

this looks... extremely easy and slow damn

Could you perhaps make a video on Fidelixia as well? The woman with many arms in chaoter 2? I'd love to see your cinematic take on that.
I could definitely try, not fully certain though :)
YEAH! 🤘
What playthrough are you on? You had a ton of special weapons and the materials are extremely hard to come by
I had gotten the weapons via a debug menu available in the press release
LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
how does he have such low health?
Bro I just watched the video turn up to 400 views
what slomo setting do you use
No slow mo in this game!
In blade and sorcerery I use between 0.35 and 0.5
What game is this???
Grimlord
@interestingameplay thanks! I think I've heard of it and it looks awesome I'm def gonna have to buy it.
Is this game play slowed down?
No that's just how it is
W vid
Thanks!
Now play clone drone
I got a video in progress already, love that gane
crazy shit
Game name?
Grimlord, in the video description
Interestn can you make a gore mod for blade and sorcery nomads mod manger please just make it the gorest stuff you can think of
I don't actually make mods, I just downloaded other people's haha...
Ha, but do you know anyone else that can mod?
I'm not sure honestly, I'm not in contact with anyone who can
It looks so janky and unresponsive as a game. Good video though.
