You guys are heros!!! What would have been a $289 repair bill from a shop cost me 45 bucks to replace a bad motor on my wife's 98 Altima -- your directions were dead on. (And the regulator was just fine, no matter what the so-called mechanic said!)
you may want to take the old gas out of it and then chenge the oil and other fluids. You may also want to put a new fuel filter in it. Hope this helps you out. Have a great day.
It could be either from a bad connection in the motor or the switch. You might want to test the switch first to see if you are getting voltage and then test the motor to make sure it is working correctly when the voltage is first applied.

Thanks for this video. I was already going to purchase it from you guys as appreciation for the video, but out of curiousity I checked autozone and advance auto, they were between 2-3 times as expensive for the same part.
good job. I worked for Nissan from 1992-2001 and probably put the window and regulator in that car. Of course it only took me a minute and twenty seconds per car. I installed the window from the inside of the door though.

Used this video to replace the front power window regulator in my 2001 altima. The only tricky part is that the factory regulator wasn't exactly the same as the part I purchased (not from 1aauto) and I had to do a little finagling to get the old motor (which still worked) onto the new regulator. Also, getting the door back on and snugged in exactly right is something I still haven't been able to do :( Overall great video though!
I have a 91 mercury Capri xr2, which is a turbo. It's been sitting in my garage for about 6 to 7 years. It had a half tank of fuel and all it's fluids. What parts would need to be replaced and how much would it cost to get it fixed and need to drive?

What if its the motor that is broken and the window is stuck all the way up? I cant get it to move to get to the screws to remove the regulator from the window.
My Nissan 2001 Xterra front driver window goes down great, but only goes up if I hold the up button for 15-20 seconds, then it goes up fine... thoughts.?

I replaced the window and regulator, but I'm having some window wobble on the way up? I took the passenger side off to have an example but I'm not finding anything inclusive to why I have window wobble on the driver side?

I have gotten to the point of taking the whole door off but there is not way that I can get the window up. It is stuck down and i cannot access the bolts. What should I do?

The cables may be jammed causing it to stay stuck in the up position. You might need to loosen the cables so that the window drops down.

On the window two tabs are glued on, thats all i need is those tabs, do you have em. Couldnt find them.
