Doing my first ever marathon training block for the London Marathon, thanks for the motivation to keep the consistency! Excited to follow your Boston series! 🏃🏻♀
I’ve told you before and I am telling you again. I love these and they’ve been such big inspiration in terms of documenting my own journey. This also made me realize that I should start posting more, and look at it more as a diary rather than a professional documentary every time. I think you’re combining professional content with a minimalistic production and I think that helps a lot in terms of pushing content. Thanks again, buddy!
Love what you're doing, Eric! Thrilled to follow along as you hunt sub 2:35. What treadmill did you ultimately pick? I've been thinking about going for an AssaultRunner (non-motorized).
I feel that weather struggle. While it’s not as cold here in Oregon it’s rained every single day of January so far. 6 am runs in the dark in the rain has been hard. Excited to see this build. Training for my second half marathon in early April. Cheers from Oregon
Your sound and production quality along with the content makes it worth slowing down for. :D Good Progress on this training block! (Was gonna say good luck but lets be real, you are working your butt off, lets not leave it to luck)
I really like how professional your videos look, compared to many other youtubers. Also, on behalf of all europeans, thanks for mentioning kilometers next to miles as well.
Started seriously running almost four months ago now, planning to run my first half and full race this year. Recently got hit by sickness and waves of work and really in a slump with my running. I gotta say, seeing Eric in my strava feed every day is one of the few things keeping me motivated with my running!
You sir have earnt yourself another subscriber from Scotland. Very good luck to you. I did my first marathon in Amsterdam in October 4:25. Not the best. Going for sub 4 in rome in 8 weeks
I need to get a treadmill myself, winter will be coming soon here in New Zealand. With all the points you have stated I believe you will smash your goal 💪💯
Been here since your first buildup. Love your cinematic style, color grading, the beats in the script for the jokes all high production value.Great buildup to the final as well. But you already knew that. I would be really curious to see how you would tackle something without music or something that breaks the current style once in a while. Wishing you all the best for Boston. Gonna be huge.
Can't wait to follow along! I'll be doing Pfitz 12/55 plan for Boston. Was hoping to be able to base build up to the point of doing 12/70, but have struggled running at 8000 feet. Praying that this altitude thing is all it's cracked up to be and that I'll fly once I get to sea level 😂
Ever since i started watching your videos i've been hoping for a floberg x bpn collab! both you and nick are so fun to watch and i'm more motivated to run every time i watch you guys. good luck!
Dude you are so watchable it's crazy. Looking forward to this series you got this! You mentioned in here a marathon paced long run.... Is that a thing you should do? Best of luck with all of this will be following
Yeah the weather sucks , I am training for the LA Marathon and the weather has had me on the treadmill for the last 3 weeks. Finally got a run outside tonight and it was awesome.
New series, let's go! Super excited for this, it makes me want to get on this same level of running. I am very close to the beginning of my journey and going to run my first half in March. I don't have a time goal but I am excited for my first ever official race. Thank you for the awesome videos and encouragement it brings Eric!
Congrats on ur accomplishments ! I PR at CiM 2:59 tryn to break 2:50 or come close to it .I will be doing Boston in April, so this an inspiration my dude - so far picking at Mi 50 for this month next 55-60 then 70-75 or come close it - heading for my 4th marathon in 15months . I will do LA as a tune up for the half!! in my mid 40’s enjoying life !!!
Was listening to you on The Drop last night, and honestly was so scared that I was the running influencer you follow and gas up even though you don't like everything they do.
I am thrilled to watch this series as I’m also doing my first marathon (not Boston Marathon) in spring. Proud to say that your video is the reason I started running since last summer.
Hell yea man, excited to follow along! Take care of those tendons! I was plagued with psoas tendinitis all of 2023, getting strength work in is a huge priority for me during my own Boston build as well.
Glad to see the prehab work you are incorporating. I hope it keeps you durable through your Boston block. Did you talk about your PTT issue in previous videos? I’m struggling with that issue now and hoping to learn what you did to overcome and prevent it? 👊
Hey Eric, I just started my training block for my first half in April. I am so stoked to increase my fitness and continue my running journey. I will be right here watching everything you do, motivated by the work you're putting in. Cant wait to see this pan out!
I’m aiming for a 2:59:00 April 13 in Geneva IL (BQ.2 Marathon). I finished Chicago 3:06 and I’m a month into training so far and going from 7:06mi to 6:50mi seems daunting.
So pumped for this! I found you as i started my half marathon training and on days that I didn’t want to run I watched you. Completed my first half in November and this year I’m planning on running my second half this year and my first full marathon in November. So pumped to watch you kill it!!!!
Great video. I think 95 miles a week will be great. Especially preparing for the Newton Hills. I think strength training coupled with some hill work will be beneficial. Executing your long runs coupled with hills toward the last 1/3 of the long run will physically and mentally prepare you for The Boston Marathon.
I think you’d be wise to look into ATG Split Squats. Really helped my hip flexors/groin and overall flexibility (which can never hurt in terms of injury prevention!)
Buzzing for this series! Training for sub 3 London block April 21st. When you said you previously followed ‘advanced’ training plan, do you mean the Garmin advanced plans?
Cool to see you incoporate more strength training to address cramp issues. I think I have a similar problem with cramping and how it's not related to salt or fuel intake. When do you usually incorporate your weight training days? I'm having a hard time deciding how many days I should space them out before or after hard work outs/long runs.
A Floberg Runs video drop day is always a good day and that intro was fire!
Ah thanks!!
Let’s get it baby!
The cross over we've all been waiting for
As a runner and a filmmaker, I'm absolutely obsessed with your videos. Super inspiring
Babe wake up new Floberg just dropped
Doing my first ever marathon training block for the London Marathon, thanks for the motivation to keep the consistency! Excited to follow your Boston series! 🏃🏻♀
Get it!!!!!
the sound design 🔥

Ouch, 2:35 is getting into some rarified air here buddy. Best of luck, lace'em up tight and enjoy the journey. 👟
Let’s go!!! 2:35 would be absolutely insane given the Boston course, but you can do it!!
Dealing with PTT myself at the moment and it isn't shifting fast so it's good to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel!
Looking forward to this block!
Thanks for inspiring me to set difficult goals! Was able to go from 3:37 to 3:18 at Houston. Next stop BQ.
Love what you're doing, Eric! Thrilled to follow along as you hunt sub 2:35.
What treadmill did you ultimately pick? I've been thinking about going for an AssaultRunner (non-motorized).
I've never been more excited to follow someone's marathon journey!
I have also never been more excited for a marathon block. I'll enjoy this one from my couch.
I feel that weather struggle. While it’s not as cold here in Oregon it’s rained every single day of January so far. 6 am runs in the dark in the rain has been hard. Excited to see this build. Training for my second half marathon in early April. Cheers from Oregon
Congrats on the BPN sponsorship. Can't wait to see you smash your goals!
Thanks so much!!
I normally watch yt vids on 2x speed, but for Floberg I go to 1x 🎉
Wow, that means so much. Seriously.
Your sound and production quality along with the content makes it worth slowing down for. :D
Good Progress on this training block! (Was gonna say good luck but lets be real, you are working your butt off, lets not leave it to luck)
I really like how professional your videos look, compared to many other youtubers. Also, on behalf of all europeans, thanks for mentioning kilometers next to miles as well.
Got my first official marathon this year, Manchester, U.K on April 14th. A new Floberg series is exactly what I need!
let's go! Waking up to a clean kitchen is an underrated experience. I love that feeling.
Great video my man, keep getting after it 💪. Thats dope that BPM hooks you up with Jeff as a coach, he’s done wonders for Nick

Hi Eric, can you post your training plan like you did for the 2:42 marathon ?? you are my inspiration !
Since Eric is now with BPN and is starting to lift, he's no longer Eric Floberg but now Eric SWOLEberg
I need to get a treadmill myself, winter will be coming soon here in New Zealand. With all the points you have stated I believe you will smash your goal 💪💯
Omg can’t wait to meet you there!
Super excited to see you crush it at Boston. Really interested to see how your body responds to the new training methods.
Been here since your first buildup. Love your cinematic style, color grading, the beats in the script for the jokes all high production value.Great buildup to the final as well. But you already knew that. I would be really curious to see how you would tackle something without music or something that breaks the current style once in a while. Excited to see the journey again, the only thing id miss from the gym is the stair stepper, that machine is great for runners
Damn bro sub 2:35 is big. But you can do it, believe it and achieve it 🔥
Can't wait to follow along! I'll be doing Pfitz 12/55 plan for Boston. Was hoping to be able to base build up to the point of doing 12/70, but have struggled running at 8000 feet. Praying that this altitude thing is all it's cracked up to be and that I'll fly once I get to sea level 😂

Hoping to dive into that more in the coming episodes! It's been a highly requested topic.

I’m aiming for a 2:59:00 April 13 in Geneva IL (BQ.2 Marathon). I finished Chicago 3:06 and I’m a month into training so far and going from 7:06mi to 6:50mi seems daunting.

See you in Boston! I have similar goals.

Buzzing for this series! Training for sub 3 London block April 21st. When you said you previously followed ‘advanced’ training plan, do you mean the Garmin advanced plans?
Always love the vibes of the videos! Excited to see you smash Boston! What's the song at the end?
Thanks so much! I'm obsessed with it. It's Ohio Laundry Room by Abby Holiday on Musicbed

LET'S GO SOUTHALL!!!!!
Hyped!!
I want to get huge too. But I also want to run fast marathons. That Nick Bare build would be ideal.
This makes me happyyyy
Swoleberg! Swoleberg! Swoleberg!!!
