    Thanks for the video, it was very informative. I'm 67 years old and have TRAPPED for well over 50 years but, I've only just begun to try snares.

    Fantastic Video, I have watch a lot of Videos on Making Snares but the details that you got into made this big light come on over my head , Slap my Forehead and run downstairs and made a 1/2 dozen DEADLY fast snares ! THANK YOU !!!

    excellent info on locks. I like the detail you get into..a lot of videos on TH-cam about making cable snares but none get into depth about the locks..thanks

    Alot of those locked because your dead end orientation was backwards. You have to change the direction of leverage then those locks work great.

    Spray paint is what I mainly use. If Scott Rainbolt comes back out with his D.O.A. snare dip this spring , I will dip in that. I do not boil snares, they would turn to rust if you dont make a catch with them the first year where I am at

      1/16th 1x19 cable in the video but you can use this on any size and type of cable
