This was well worth the almost 20 minutes . I am new at snaring and just trying to get all the parts rounded up to make some snares up. Great video !Thanks
Fantastic Video, I have watch a lot of Videos on Making Snares but the details that you got into made this big light come on over my head , Slap my Forehead and run downstairs and made a 1/2 dozen DEADLY fast snares ! THANK YOU !!!
excellent info on locks. I like the detail you get into..a lot of videos on TH-cam about making cable snares but none get into depth about the locks..thanks
Spray paint is what I mainly use. If Scott Rainbolt comes back out with his D.O.A. snare dip this spring , I will dip in that. I do not boil snares, they would turn to rust if you dont make a catch with them the first year where I am at

This guy is the the master of the snare. Watched him 7 years ago and caught many critters with his advice.
Dude! Your video is the best and most explainable. Thank you!
thanks
Thanks for the video, it was very informative. I'm 67 years old and have TRAPPED for well over 50 years but, I've only just begun to try snares.

I just made my first snare, and had issues from it stopping and not tightening. But this video really helped thanks !
Great Video
Alot of those locked because your dead end orientation was backwards. You have to change the direction of leverage then those locks work great.
Thank you for this video, it was very helpful.
Thanks for the detail...I did learn,...from Nigeria
I’m dealing with hogs but lots of good advice
Good luck. Hogs are something I haven't gotten to play with yet
Great vid. Thanks

@John Bsys You throw the tea bags into the boiling soda solution?
Hi, thanks for making the video, newbie here, what is the gauge or size of the cable
thanks again
1/16th 1x19 cable in the video but you can use this on any size and type of cable
Good stuff, do you dye them and what do you use? I use both log wood crystals and speed dip.
I don't care to much for them!
