    What about animation BP, coz it also takes tick? I think it's better to off tick and when we need actors make tick.

      I wasn't necessarily talking about how or where we should place our code. This was just a vague discussion on how the same piece of code can have different effects on performance depending on where it is. Of course, if we can avoid using tick without have any effect on our game, we should probably do it.

      You can disable the tick on the animation when the actor is not render, mind you if you have thing attach to it like shirt and stuff thing can get out of sync
