If it wasn't a Bond film, I would suggest Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. Absolutely mesmerizing: you don't notice that it's slow, long and sad until the void of the credits roll by.
One of my favorite character actors is Joe Spinell who was actually in a movie you guys watched, The Ninth Configuration. Which makes me wonder if you guys have seen the original Maniac? It's a bit unsettling but Spinell is fantastic in it.
Although her adult work might be more conventional, Lynn is great as the knowing, wise-cracking teenage sister in "The Miracle of Morgan's Creek" and makes a strong impression in the same vein in "The Major and the Minor." And she already had that distinctive voice.

Anthony Valli I enjoyed the movie. Michael Shannon and Laura Dern were enjoyable. I can't stand Andrew Garfield, though. He's so whiny and his dramatic faces are the worst. I've never seen a movie where I believed his acting. He seems really fake and unnatural

'In Broad Daylight' starring Brian Dennehy, featuring cloris leachman. Intense movie. Also has one of my favorite actors, Chris cooper. It's about a thug of a man who bullies an entire town, and that's all I care to let out about it, other than that I'm pretty sure it's based on a true story.

Hope the Bond movie is either From Russia with Love (which I've been wanting since season 1) or either of the Dalton movies, though I'd prefer License to Kill. Though knowing Matt he'll probably pick the oddball and go with Never say never again, which I'd be ok with as well.

It's noteworthy in the history of Bond due to it marking the transition from Connery to Moore, it's a title that is immediately associated with both James Bond and the Espionage genre, but it's not so ubiquitous that it would be shocking for Matt to have not seen it.
The best living character actress today is undoubtedly Jenette Elise Goldstein. While you may not recognize her name, you will know her as Vasquez from the Iconic Sci-Fi film "Aliens", or as Janelle in T2, she even plays the Irish mother in Titanic. Now that is range.

I've just let your periodic snide political comments and back-handed slams against conservatives pass without any thought. Until this one. My hope is that you can put as much thought and analysis into our culture, your viewing audience, and our political system; as you do your movie reviews. I respect your intelligent, thoughtful and intuitive breakdowns of many of my favorite films and new favorites thanks to you guys. You guys make a great team and I hope you keep up the great work.
