Dear England, These are the voices that matter, the voices that fought for a free and united Europe. They gave so much so Europe could join and live in peace... and Europe has never seen such a long period of peace and prosperity since the EU was founded after WW2. Brexit... is simply a disappointment to all the men and women who gave so much for Europe in WW2. This projection of the remaining brave souls, projected on the White Cliffs of Dover, that so many Spitfires and Hurricanes flew over defending England that led to freedom. Shame on you England... shame on you for ever having to hear this from these men :(
Shame on you for not allowing the freedoms that these men fought for, to be carried on today. TO be ale to have my say in the 2016 referendum is a privilege of what these men and women gave their lives for. I will never take that for granted!

They are, and were, individuals, each with his own personal opinion and political view. Many of us know one of them as a relative or friend, and what he may have thought about Brexit. But shame on anyone who pretends to know what all of them would have thought about it. Shame on anyone who tries to use their sacrifice and heroism to support their own political agenda. Let’s not use them as a political instrument. Let’s simply honour all those brave souls for their courage and sacrifice.
Gary Palpatine certainly. Firstly the new president of the European Commission, Ursula Von Der leyen was the only candidate for the so called democratic vote. Secondly. The European Commissions role is to initiate legislation and they can’t be voted for and they have power over the parliament and the rules. Thirdly. The countries of France, Denmark and Ireland and many more voted against the Lisbon treaty in 2006 but brought through the back door.

I am heartbroken because I am English and didn't want to leave Europe. My sister-in-law is Dutch and I work with Polish people who are wonderful. Now every English person is going to be hated. I am old enough to know about the Common Market and we have been with Europe for a long time, I couldn't believe it. I wish there was something I could do. We have no idea what is going to come out of this.
It;s really annoying that this version is incomplete - when the stars disappear at the end, one is left - it moves to centre screen with a message that says 'This is Our Star; Look After it For Us'. Not for most of us. Like a surprising number of WW2 veterans, they clearly are against Brexit as it loosens the bond of solidarity in Europe which was forged by their heroism and sacrifice.
