I've been making my own pinball games for over a decade, most fun I've ever had. Even got a job working in a pinball company. You're right, show them what you can do.
I am an avid pinball player and I love building custom arcade machines. I picked building a homebrew machine for this year’s project. Picked up a fully populated Kings of Steel that was missing the backbox, but the entire playfield is intact. The mechanical part and the wiring doesn’t scare me, but I am a complete newb when it comes to coding 😬
I remember how long it took my brother and I to build a virtual pinball machine from scratch, especially the hours upon hours it took my brother to setup the front-end, pup packs, music, etc. and sync it all together with vpx exactly as we had originally envisioned it. I can’t imagine taking on a project like yours. Much respect!
Building my first, most of boards for cabinet glued, soon can start to assemble it. Already soldered some IO-boards etc. and coded bit of arduino mega. Need to start plan and CNC brackets for mechs.
Hi jack, You’re right from begin to end ! I’m Also on my way to bring my home brew to life... One of the most satisfying challenge of my life 👍🏻 Every pinball enthusiasts should try it ! Best regards from France 🇫🇷✌🏻
Got a link to the start of these homebrew vids of ours? I went to your twitch but couldnt find any of the vids you mentioned here. Id love to check them out. Thanks. Mitch
I am happy not to go through all that hassle and just play Zen Pinball tables LOL. Love pinball and well done on your own made table Dead Flip. You must be a proud owner now of a really unique 1 of a kind table.
This is so awesome to see! I've had a couple designs on the back burner myself for a couple years now, fully acknowledging that what I am trying to do is absurd and will take a lot of skills I don't have fully developed yet, so I've been working on other slightly less absurd projects in the meantime. I'm really excited to look more into the information you have on this. And thanks for the resources you mentioned here as well - I hadn't come across most of these yet myself!
Thank you so much for this video! I have been in the process of building my own machine and can’t wait for the documentary to come out! Keep up all of the great work you do :)
It's not just newbies who make typo's in code. This is a common problem in fact and affects games such as Aliens: Colonial Marines enemy AI: www.engadget.com/2018-07-13-aliens-colonial-marines-typo-ai.html
I'm not too familiar with how Twitch stores VODs anymore, is it possible to go back and rewatch the old streams or should we just wait for the documentary?
and btw this is definitely the coolest project to come out of pinball broadcasting, your work and the help others provided is incredible and having such a comprehensive walk through of this process will help out so many people! Thank you!
The pizza spinner with the magnet from tmnt is so fricken cool
Just a thought for your future machines!

Great job Jack 😊 keep up the fantastic work bud
Yes! Now I can finally make my Orgazmo pinball machine....or My Dinner with Andre I can't decide.
Incredibly cool achievement. Can only imagine how good it must feel. Can't wait to see what your next original machine will be!
It is obvious how passionate you are for everything pinball. Lots of good things are going to happen for Jack Danger.
What an awesomely nice thing to say. Keep putting that positivity out into the world! ❤️
What’s the current high score? Would love to play that VPX file.

Achievement Unlocked: Finish home brew!
So excited for the doc now Jack!! Been dreaming of a game for a while but don’t have any clue as to how to put a machine together.
Thanks for the great vid! You’re proving in a very good way that Visual Pinball is more than just a “game” hand actively helps develop new games! 👍🏻

Jack, I can't even find a tutorial for what software to load up visual pinball. When is this documentary happening!?
Pretty cool brother. Would love to get in on a project like this one day.
Would love to see some gameplay
Lmfao I've been following you on Twitch for as long as I have, & never knew you had a TH-cam channel. Definitely going to the regular circulating.
Welcome Aboard :P
Most impressive
Beautiful! Did you use birch or maple? Where did you get it?
Very cool brother.
Jack, did you share some MPF code somewhere and your videos about coding ??

Sadly the vods are no longer online but I have them and making the doc. I’ll try to get it done ASAP.
Where can I watch more gameplay of this?
Middle of playfield is a bit bare.. needs some pop ups like GB or MM..Otherwise awesome work
You need a lot of engineers and designers and programmers e.g. Lyman sheats
sooooo fucking rad man
One day. 🙂
Hi, I have a question. Do you know a manufacturer who will build me a custom built pinball machine? Do you know the price range on that?
Did the docu get made?
On a permanent hold for now. Life got in the way.
Its very hard jack
”pinball is hard”
FIrst !
So you didn’t actually build it yourself then! 🤣👍
