Finally got power back, and lifes returning to normal from the hurricane that hit. And I get a 3 hour DD2 run to unwind to thank you for all the amazing content Baer, you might not realize it but your content helps a lot of people out. So I appreciate it a great deal, can't wait to see how you react to the Kingdoms update.
I see that you've been using Wanderer Jesters a lot lately. Have you considered using Intermezzo instead, at least when you're not intending to use Finale? You still have access to normal Encore, but with the AoE version of Inspiring Tune. And the changes to other support skills are pretty nice too.
So, I've got almost everyone up to 5 memories and am just locking in better quirks. One important factor is building a team that can beat one of the bosses on the first level and rolling off of that success. I did just that (oc, hwm, grrob, hell), beat the General first round, smoked the librarian second round, and took on the General again in the 3rd round. All 5 round fights. Except I let my Occultist get down to zero health and passed on using a healing kit as he was right after the general's action on round 5 of the second fight. First check, he was boosted to 90% death's blow, what's the harm even if he takes a hit? He dies. He had The Jinx and 5 memories. Soooooo annoying. Sooooo silly RNG. Soooooo very my fault for having the hubris of trying to save a good item instead of using it. But that's why you play DD2- because it is NEVER a guaranteed win!
Nice tip with the region 1 miniboss. I'll suggest locking in Jinx for everyone. If you take a team with 2 or more Jinx to the Leviathan, it trivializes the battle. Also works with Librarian.
Right after my hard fought victory over the eyes, I defeated the hands on my first Chapter 4 run. Now I have a Leper with four memories and locked into doing Chapter 5.
Baer! You should have been killing the small worms first, since they don't leave a corpse anyway, and that way, they'd stopped eating the corpses. Love your vods, wish I could make it to the streams :)
Baeeeer hearth light removes team blind on upgrade should've done it it makes the lungs easiest Other things you could've changed is smoldering hamlet with the spread poltice and biniding shadow instead of daemon pull which was useless realy Occult would've taken care of the lungs hellion tanking and jester and runaway do their things
Hellion could have helped with the back lung had she movement resist; there was an indelible Anchoring Charm (+50% move resist) in the inn just before the mountain.
It's funny that Revelry, while being considered the worst of the stress healing skills, has the highest possible stress reduction with healing 5 stress. Well, I guess outside Intermezzo Jester, I forget how his stress heal changes exactly.
Intermezzo targets everyone over 5 stress And who's bleeding (when mastered), for a max total of 8 reduction across the board. I've only just started trying the path out, it's a fun one as long as you have a reliable way to deal with plenty of bleeds (Ministrations is massive for this)
So so close at the very end there, if that Hellion didn't start the battle on such a bad foot with a bad perk gained at literally the last minute, then I think this would have been a W.

Sorry folks, could've done more with the hellion at the end.
Hopefully next Jester can inherit my angst against this lung testicle thing 😤
Carrion eater with the general trophy of the 200% DMG to corpses

Overconfidence is, as ever, a played-out tune, but it never stops being true.
Am I the only one that keeps reading the Fussy Eater quirk as something else that ends in -ussy Eater?
You're not. I wish I could lock in negative quirks...

Baersball!

Resist!!! 😂
One of the problems with this boss.. you can't have fun. You *have* to pick a team that can kill it. Fun run though bud.
