oh i wanted to talk about using ruin with the new jester bleed encore for that great damage setup even on Poet he can do 50 damage with enough stacks i forgot

i really wish abomination has some sort of backline stress relief path, the game desperately needs it
theres only 3 stress healers now, two of them are basically the same, crusader and maa, both frontline low damage tanks, and the other is jester, that means any comp that is not running crusader or maa must run jester, which also means this comp must run a healer, you can choose a frontline one, like flag or crusader (crusader maybe making you not need jester) or a backline one, the most normal choice is backline, that means only one slot is open for any most common parties without maa or crusader, the dps slot
or maybe i'm just delusional

Honestly I like poet better than tempest at this point. He still does good damage despite the damage cut, -25% isn’t that bad compared to monarchs -75% damage while not fighting cosmic. You get the +move and +stun resist. Honestly, when leper gets reworked, the move resist should be like that across the board on all paths, a tank like him shouldn’t get moved easily.
If I remember correctly shuffle considers poet to be leper+ at this point. Honestly it really is. Poet is pretty much his best path. Tempest is nice if you’re going for a debuff resistant team using the slime pet. Wanderer is good for getting the selfish motivation and cruel intent combo with shamblers spawn(only on console and those who aren’t running the experimental branch). Poet is just good, use him like how you’d usually use him. Monarch only really relevant for the mountain, I forget to switch to monarch every single time, only thing you really get is +25% damage, +20% hp (the only really good thing about this path) and +2 speed while fighting cosmic.

How are you starting out with such great trinkets? Did they change the way candle purchases work? When I last played once I had unlocked all trinkets I was pretty much stuck with nothing at start

You can spend your candles at the start of the run to roll for random trinkets. You can use it to reroll quirks too

hey bb, how do you roll soooo many trinkets and stagecoach gear with candles?
the most i usually get is 3~4 itens, 2 from each, after that the prices skyrockt, but in this video you seem to have 6+ total
