Epic build, looks like loads of fun. My favorite part is how you said you built the truck to go faster than the snow cat and avoid the costs of helicopter and then drive the truck around so the helicopter can record you lol gotta love that logic.
I think they were more of advertising the setup to other people that have money, but not enough money for a helicopter in hopes of selling a few kits ;) Ken Block can obviously afford helicopters hehe
Jethi Selling kits? What kit are they advertising tho? Trax are not new at all, and they have their own marketing. This is purely showing off and having fun. Maybe to promote the hoonigan brand but I can't see how to agree they are selling some kit.

There is ALWAYS a reason that benefits them. They may not be advertising trax (maybe they are, just cus something isnt new doesnt mean it doesnt need advertising) but he is right about the fact theyre selling.

Idk if you follow ken but this guy is a proffesional fun haver who literally has a camera either pointed at him or in his hand or attached to him on a daily basis because he is always having fun and he even helped usher in the gymkhana popularity in the states which again idk if you realize but the entire sport is basically about having fun and doing skids. if you just want to argue for arguments sake than thats fine but im pretty sure you just spoke to argue and then agreed with my statment, bottom line, you show me a "kit" they are selling and where it can be ordered and ill "gl with life". trax has its own marketing and you're all assuming that this was all free for ken, do you guys know ths stuff for a fact, because im not going on conjecture and rambling on about things that im not sure about, i made a simple joke after paying a compliment and all you troll boys want to jump on me, you guys are hilarious .

I once saw one that was an 8-wheel one. Some guy went crazy, and there was 4 rear wheels, (2 on each side in rear) and 4 front wheels, 2 per side. I thought it was both kinda stupid but cool at the same tome, as it kinda reminded me of the 1984 Oshkosh HEMTT I ride in occasionally.

@@theprophet_-__cxvii__-_8693 nope this thing won't seriously go up any hills were humans can go ergo were mountain rescue has to go. They only drove this thing in a ski area so it's all nice and flat and you don't have thirty or more degree of incline

helis are 1k plus each timr they turn on so when a run down the mountain takes a couple mins and you ride maybe 8-9 hours a day for all weekend of the season it is probably cheaper to build that $150,000+ truck and also its a hell more fun than taking a copter up the mountain

Gen.Ginger Ya, that is exactly what Im thinking. Im guessing the shot at 2:25 is what where both talking about, It was quite possibly another helicopter taking that shot but it may have been a drone or maybe it was taken from another ridge.
But still, its still a ridiculous notion, (Its cheaper to build this truck, which probably cost around 80k+) I know that also sounds ridiculous but just think about it, those tracks (Matt-tracks, which also suck and are unreliable) cost around 5k per track! So thats $20,000. Plus all the other add ons and mods, and the truck itself.
So in the end of it all its definitely not cheaper then hiring a helicopter, since the going rate for an As-350 A-Star (the aircraft in the video) when doing heliskiing is around $1500 and hour + fuel. So thats way cheaper then building the truck.
But even to me, being a helicopter pilot myself, id much rather go skiing with that truck, its just too cool.
But on the other hand id think it would be less awesome when you get really stuck and a track breaks....
