"Brexit double midfield" is the most "England football in the last 20 years" sentence I have ever heard haha. Honestly I think you have produced a tactical system which is a far better fit that the current arrangement. I feel Southgate's current approach is more "put all the best players on the pitch" rather than any game management or tactics
This was the same thing that ex German Manager Flick did he chose many Top players from Dortmund and Bayern and made a team with big names but currently Nagelsman made a team which also has underrated players like Andrich,Mittelstadt etc and not big names

@@vism2812 The issue is we had Bellingham, Foden and Kane all wanting to occupy that #10 space, as that's where they play most effective. This leaves us crowded in the middle, Saka as the only outlet and makes us easy to predict and contain. If Kane cant operate as a pure 9, Jude has to drop back to more of an 8 role and we need a proper left winger that can strech and get in behind. Alternatively drop Kane for Watkins, stick Jude in the double pivot with Rice and have Foden in the 10. Also we're really missing that direct progression from the back that both Shaw and Maguire have been so pivotal to for the last 2 tournaments.
I watched Bayern Munich the entire season, their back four hasn't been up to par. Eric Dier has done a better job than Kim Min Jae for pity sake, Tuchel didn't get the DM in Paulinha that he wanted and Kimmich has been all over the place. With numerous injuries to De ligt, Gnarby etc. They also won the Bundasliga by the skin of their teeth the season before last so the writing was on thr wall for this iteration of the Bayern team. Yet somehow you're implying he's the problem at Munich? A lot of what you've said is an unfair assessment.
Who’s here after Slovakia 2 games later and we are still doing the same thing. Our tactics are so unbalanced in terms of width. One of trippier and foden need to be dropped for someone to hold the width
I don’t agree with what you said about foden. Yes he starts as a winger in the England games, but he’s been allowed to to drift inside and roam into pockets in the midfield, same as what he is allowed to do at Man City yet there’s no success.
With Man City in many games it has been painful but at least he cuts in onto his right and at times Bernardo goes out there to swap with him. There’s also a penetration striker stretching the play. More rotations. Still not ideal.
@@PythagorasinBootsThere were multiple times in the denmark game where saka found foden in those pockets of space and he managed to take those outside-of-the-box left footed shots that we see him take at city. I think with time the saka-foden link up could work, although it comes at the detriment of saka not having any space to cut in and use his own left foot.
Problem is Kane is also dropping into that space, and Jude also likes to operate there. So when 3 of your 4 most forward players are all gravitating to the same area of the pitch you have no outlets/movement to utilize and it becomes crowded and easily contained by the opponent. With such a 1 sided attack we aren't stretching the opponent to open that space for those players to operate effectively.
I get your Kane and Ronaldo opinion, but false 9 isn't necessarily the most effective way to set up both England and Portugal. Especially when neither of these teams attempt to aggressively press their opponents. Kane's excellent hold up play and creative ability still ensures he's one of England's best assets and Ronaldo's exploitation of space in decisive moments is still an unmatched quality he brings to Portugal. Ultimately modern football tactics is all about tradeoffs and balancing them with what you have.
Simply not true though is it. Past two games have proved he isn’t a good asset and I can’t imagine him impacting the bigger games as the tournament progresses
@@PythagorasinBoots Tough argument to make when England are struggling to progress the ball. While I disagree with Kane dropping deeper to pick-up the ball, I think that is more of a consequence of a dysfunctional spine to the team than an issue with the player. If we're talking about poor individual performances, then one has to also question why Rice and Bellingham have been losing the ball so easily with either sloppy passes or to basic challenges. Individually these mistakes are far more costly to the team than anything Kane is doing.
@@sssf55calling Kane an asset is nonsense. He is literally a statue out there, so slow, against big teams he becomes invisible. Until Kane produces in the biggest moments, rather than scoring tons against lesser opponents he cannot be considered one of Englands best assets. He’s never produced when it counts
@@JamesCM86 I don't disagree that Harry Kane might have a weak mentality. However, I struggle to accept that Foden in false 9 has more of a threat to goal than Kane- especially when Foden is so incredibly frail. You can perhaps make an argument for Watkins given that he's faster and often more direct, but even then I'd still say Kane has more to offer in his passing ability, hold up play and is just a better finisher. I would argue that Kane is not being utilized properly. Perhaps England could win the Euros with Watkins as a striker, but even that would require a significant tactical change from the way they play now.
Englands problem is Southgate and you can see it every time England has played since he became the Manager and these Euro's has exposed just how bad he is with how unbalanced the team is and Southgate has no idea how to fix it.
Absolutely, it's his inability to see what's wrong that's so troubling. He simply cannot see why Trent isn't suited to the role. Thinks he knows more than the guy who's worked with him every day for 8 years.
I really like your proposed xi, I hate how southgate tried the same lineup again after it failed the first time. Shows real stubbornness and a real lack of awareness on his part. kane aswell, hes ghosting so hard. We know he needs service but it gets increasingly difficult to justify playing him when he has zero influence on the game
The Spain v Italy match immediately after proved such a stark contrast. Spain moved the ball so quickly, getting it between the lines and to the wings with purpose and urgency. Showed how lethargic we were against Denmark- but think honestly that could be a good thing as it feels like the vibe has shifted. Southgate is a great manager of a team culture and up and coming talent so was a great fit for 2018 when our squad was limited and the team vibes were so bad. Now though, with a much better crop of players Southgate's tactical inflexibility has really been exposed. The game's moved on a lot in the last 5 years but he's remained basically the same guy. Feels like whatever happens it's time for him to move on and for England to have a men's manager who can be more flexible with systems prior to the game and more atuned to in-game shifts- the pre-planned Gallagher substitute feels like such a depressing summation of how things aren't working when there are better options that feel simple and intuitive to those like myself with a so-so grasp of football tactics. Hopefully this game is the nadir rather than a sign of things to come.
Interesting takes. Funny thing is I strongly differ about Leroy Sane this past season. He had moments of magic but half the time I saw a player who was trying to do things by himself, not playing the obvious or needed ball to his attacking teammates. Whenever he didn't get a goal it was frustrating to watch.
@@PythagorasinBootsthen Jude is the one that needs to go. I don’t get why you put him at the 10. He’s our biggest problem in attack cause he’s too awkward and ineffective on the ball
another factor is that this team doesn't understand how to play together ,they seem to rely on individual talents to escape out of situations rather than a system designated to
Disagree w a lot of this imo. You’re being harsh on Kane, I agree w his shortcomings in big moments but he’s still a top 5 player in the squad alongside foden, Jude, Trent and saka. That’s one. Two that lineup stinks, walker’s poor defensive iq has no business being a natural cb and if England are pressed, can they really go long to foden? lol, false 9s are redundant now. Pickford-Trent-guehi-stones-Gomez-rice-Wharton-foden-Jude-saka-kane.
Kane has an outlet to play in behind w saka being more vertical playing on his natural side, foden as right sided 10 with trent overlapping him and using his crossing and Jude attacking those crosses. Guehi-stones-Gomez-rice-Wharton is a fantastic rest defence
I'd probably put Gomez at LB if Shaw isn't fit considering he played there for Liverpool. I'm not sure I'd put Walker as a CB. Not sure he has ever played there in a back 4. Guehi has done well so far as well. Aside from that the starting lineup looks right
Would like some videos on Copa America considering there are some interesting teams like Colombia and Uruguay in this edition to challenge the world champions.
I personally think phoden and jude both playing 10 would be amazing and sot of like using 3 cbs and i think leaving Henderson out was a bad mistake because they need an experienced player playing alongside rice also henderson is a great passer and would control the games more
I’m a city fan and I’ve always said foden would be playing false 9 if haaland wasn’t at city. He isn’t a winger and he isn’t good enough yet with some of the responsibilities of a midfielder. People say he’s the Stockport iniesta but I’d say his playstyle is a lot more similar to messi.
I'm also not a huge Kane fan, but don't think he's as bad as you frame it. Just currently really not used to his strengths. I would consider dropping Bellingham further back next to Rice. He can definitely do that, until his transfer to Madrid that was his game. He can help Rice with the build up, but also still make his runs when they get to the attack. Would put Foden or Palmer at 10. You need some more creativity there. Like the Pedri role for Spain, the agile dribbly boy that can roam between the lines. Gordon on the left not a bad call. The team just needs anyone in attack to make runs in behind. Saka, Foden and Kane all aren't doing that. If you want to bench Kane, do just play Watkins. He's not a worldclass player, but he'll run, work and score. There's enough creative talent to just put a scoring striker making runs upfront. Making Foden play a false 9 role, which he hasn't played, and the team hasn't trained for at all seems like a next disaster to me. Making the leftback defensive, more like the 3rd man at the back. Then let Trent roam from rightback and create in attack. England are lucky that they have so many options, they're just really slow in figuring out the puzzle.😮
Hey pythag hope you doing well bro , i have a question .. i saw an old tweet from you that was ranking these youngsters ( yamal , cubarsi , guler and zaire emery ) and you said yamal for me is the best and also you said i would rank guler as high as emery in terms of max potential and i wanted to know if we add endrick to the list how would you rate him among them ?
Drop Harry Kane! You are asking for carnage from the English media. I swear I have seen England press with Kane in the team. Our 2018 campaign was based on high pressing. In the last Euros I remember a high press against Ukraine and Denmark and multiple times in the qualifying rounds. Harry can press but there needs coordination so that they press in packs. Rice should be allowed to push up in the press, he is so good in that. Against Iceland he created a goal scoring chance by pressing the goalkeeper and against Denmark his press created a shot on goal...
England's "tactics" consist of putting on what the coach believes to be the "best 11" players without any sort of plan or ideas, just the belief that the opposition will see those names and get scared. This issue predates Southgate, Kane or this current generation. Then the opposition actually puts up a fight and the English players produce surprised Pikachu faces.
I think Kane is a class captain, he’s the type to remind all the young sometimes rambunctious England players that’s it’s actually not that important to shag a model right now. There needs to be a bigger second figure who can add the intimidating and motivational energy. Besides that Southgate has absolutely ruined any tactical chemistry the players could have and I see 0 players stepping up and taking control on the field. Jude is hunting for highlights rather than doing the dirty work, foden is lost without possession players around him, Rice isn’t a lone 6, Trippier and Guehi aren’t good enough in possession, and taa works best with channel runners and this team has maybe 1 that’s consistently playing. Kanes bread and butter is now being eaten up by Jude and Foden so he’s left with nothing to contribute. Saka just doesn’t produce enough to carry a team by himself.
Wharton is literally the perfect player tactically for this team. As the 6. Release Rice as an 8. Bellingham 10. Foden cutting in from the right or as a false 9. Brave dropping Guehi tbh he's been good. The whole team is a mess
This team is not even close to perfect. If you look at why Kane isn't performing, it's because they are going long and using Kane as a target man, but they are not providing any support to him. The lack of runs by players is also an issue; only Saka makes those runs, while Foden and Bellingham drop too deep to carry the ball, and Rice isn't making any progressive passes. Foden is not a perfect number 10, but Kane has the ability to make him a better player, with Bellingham in the number 8 role. I don't understand why Rice is worth £110M. Gordon is better because he has the pace to make runs and press the opponent.
Kane would've been so much better at Real Madrid I think. It would've allowed Vini and Rodrygo to cut in, but also to atract players and draw fouls and space for them to shoot.
You’re the only person who’s actually floating the false 9 option as a solution to this. I have to wonder why that is when Foden and Palmer have done well there this season. Maybe it’s a bit of a media issue where they’ve decided what someone’s best position is despite the evidence? As with people thinking Rice is most comfortable as a no 6 even though he’s never excelled there at club level. The biggest problem for me though is the midfield. Why on Earth does he think Gallagher is the solution? We’re a side that can’t keep the ball, so why would you put someone whose strengths are off the ball running in there when it’s not working with TAA. We’ve all pointed out that he’s got Wharton and Mainoo on the bench but what the hell do Jones and Elliott at Liverpool have to do to get a look in? Particularly Jones is great at progressing the ball and he already works with TAA in his inverted fullback position. I know it’s a bit early for Rico Lewis with the number of minutes he’s got and likewise Lewis Miley. But why all of a sudden have we shut off the pathway for players coming from youth tournament wins in favour of reminiscing about Phillips who barely featured even at Leeds after the last Euros with injury?
@@PythagorasinBoots Has Walker ever played LB? Would he be able to give England width down the left-hand side if they continue to persist w Foden on the left? Hence, they would be able to play TAA at RB and invert him. Also, going off that idea, would ENG have the same issues if Rice was CDM w TAA inverted next to him?
I can't imagine a team talk from Messi or Morata, which can impress someone automatically. They are capable captains though. And who else? Jude? Pickford? No
@PythagorasinBoots So we're at the stage that pressing like a madman is more valuable than insane goal scoring ability to a striker? Football is truly finished, mate.
@@footballfan5048 no one's disputing the efficacy or pressing. Just whether or not we're prioritising that, over proven goalscoring ability at the highest level. Why isn't Weghorst world class, if 'pressing helps more than I know'?
That team just doesn't work. Looks great on paper but Walker at center back???? If Kane's so bad, why did Guardiola want him? His best abilities isn't to dominate a defender, he grew up playing in midfield ffs. What he's brilliant at his positioning, finishing and linkup play. If Kane is struggling to impose himself inside the box he can drop deeper and help connect play too his wingers. What you say about Kane can't be true because if it was then how does he have like 400 career goals? Surely defenders would've figured out he doesn't impose himself on defenders, Haaland does that and is far more invisible than Kane in latter stages of competitions. I would take a Harry Kane over any strikeg right now because he's not one dimensional. I'm saying this as an Arsenal fan ffs
"If Kanes so bad why did Pep want him" Pep wanted Bravo and binned him after one season. He bought Kalvin Phillips and never used him, he bought Grealish for big money and now hardly uses him. Poor argument.
@@iLYK2PWN the next year he signed Haaland mate. Completely different. Every team wanted Kane. A player who hadn't scored less than 20 goals in the last 10 years.
He can if he plays at rcm similar to de bruynes role but playing exclusively facing goal, get him in those half spaces so he can use his incredible playmaking and ball striking. Or you could play as a free rb role where he can roam and do what he wants, playing outside the opposition block, almost like a quarterback from American football
Lol I'd even put saka at LB before trippier, i think bellingham is avoiding a ton of criticism, moving to Madrid has made his ego so big he thinks he's a luxury player rather than a more talented gallagher, goal hanging at madrid made him less involved overall and more of a moments player, he needs to be moved deeper
Jude was doing everything against Serbia, without any runners and Kane thinking he’s a midfielder. Against Denmark, Jude created the most chances and created one as soon as he got a runner in Watkins. Always tries the defensive effort but failed against Denmark. Foden is the luxury player.
The comparisons are crazy. Its like comparing players like gerrard to inesta diff playstyle entirely. Jude is a box to box players it's only at Madrid he was used higher and that to for the first half of the season btw. You see his heatmap and he was drfiting wide to cover for vinicius and always working defensively.
Firstly I don't know what youre watching as clearly Bellingham was pressing hard he always does and he is pretty good at it btw. And England as a whole didn't press but you want him to run. Not defending his overall performance but can't question his hardwork.
If Southgate takes out Saka and Bellingam or Foden and replace one of them for Gordon, I really, really fell like you will be swallowing your words dry. Kane is still a very decent and good #9. Pay attention to his off the ball runs, ignore the hype
Let's say hypothetically Kane gets benched. When would you bring him on, and what would be the system then. LW should always have been Gordon in absence of Rashford and Sterling
I’d bring him on when the game is after 70 minutes and he is up against more tired legs. I’d use Gordon as a LWF and Saka right. I’d get Trent at RB, Wharton LCM, ideally Shaw LB.
@@PythagorasinBootsIt sounds like you want to play with two false nines. This sounds interesting, but this looks like too much of an overhaul of the system which is unnecessary they have the personnel to play Gareth's system he's simply refusing to play them in their natural positions. Your system will then have no one up front to hold the ball up, so we'll be constantly reliant of runs around the back. Teams will just sit deep like they're now and let us play in front of them. Harry Kane isn't the issue he's a symptom of a weak and dusty midfield. Ask yourself this if the England manager prefers to play with a career right back in midfield over three actual midfielders and bemoans for Kalvin Philips back what does that say to you? The midfield is the biggest issue. It's strange that you're singling him out when Foden, Trippier and Trent have been the biggest culprits in this tournament so far.
right about 99% but Foden false 9 is insane sorry. I feel bad for Trippier as he's being used out of position with a guy who can't play LW not helping him at all, if he had Gordon providing width wouldn't be half as bad.
Oh!! This is mean!!, never seen you this ruthless, if i didn't know better I'd say you genuinely don't like the player also tore Southgate to shreds 😂😂. Awesome content as always 👌👌👌
As bad as he was this season hes the only player of his profile they have, a natural left winger whos pacy and can stretch out the play as well as create his own shot which is important for tight end internation tournaments
@@PythagorasinBoots if they are slow and can't even take on tired legs, they might as well not come as substitutes. For both Kane and Cr7-if they have good service and a pressing monster of a team that has got dynamos to compensate for their work rate-just like De Paul and Alvarez at Argentina...they may start is what I feel.
I really appreciate this channel for its balanced and rational insights. The expression "naturally born loser" put me off. I had to pause the video. I would not have thought that such an expression comes up. Winning and losing is sth which is learnt. Ronaldo lost his first final at 19 and missed two penalties in his first CL final in 2008. If one wins because one has great other players around, then winning trophies is easier: Because one learns how to win (how to deal with the stress e. g.I and also because one has already some trophies, so less stress, when one is the big star in the team. I hope no child who watches the video starts to believe that s/he could be a naturally born loser. Again, much respect for this channel and Pythagoras in Boots but this expression is nonsense
I''ll get rid of bellingham, its like when man united play mctominay as 10 its awful. I would also l play foden there or maddison if we actually if he was in the squad for creativity. Right wing I'll put Palmer there to make those inverted runs and attack the right half space. Left back play someone in the mould of ben white who can stay back with the other 2 centre back and provide that added protection and let Trent bomb along the width with Palmer inside. With Saka I like he slows the tempo down and gives that added control but in 1v1 situations hes not direct enough and passive in terms for my liking.
LMFAO. As a Kane fan, I was waiting for some intelligent criticism of Kane and all I got was something something 'hes not a big game player' something something 'hes slow' muh 'look at his xG bro'. 'Kane has no aura' basically sums up what you said. You even used the bloody word at 5:34. This is something i'd expect to hear from Lee Gunner not a guy called 'Pythagaros in Boots'. I'm sure he's rolling in his grave hearing your takes.
I get your point it seems to be facetious analysis, but that’s literally describes Kane to a tea this tournament. Literally no box presence whatsoever vs Switzerland, you can check his average position. I’m not really going to get at him for using the word “aura” cuz he’s been using it for years, Tiktok just got their hands to it and made it into a jokey typa word.
What would you deem ‘intelligent criticism’. Look at Kane in this Euros, statue, slow, not capable of producing big moments, cant run, doesn’t vary his movement, easy to mark.. the list goes on….
Kane’s value is definitely lower in KO matches against top sides but this is waaaaaaaay over the top, like it was back in Feb when you first suggested it. I can understand why you might feel vindicated by the first two matches and he needs to do better, but I feel like you’re scapegoating one player when the whole team looks knackered trying to play a high press with ill-fitting profiles. Acting like the best solution is dropping him pretty radical and it will never happen for obvious reasons. There is more than one way to play football and not all of them involve having an explosive number 9. As another historian of the game I feel like you should know this. Only reason he would be dropped is poor physical condition (he just came back from injury). He’s never being dropped for tactical reasons because there’s obvious solutions to that which involve shifting around players of lesser seniority and esteem. Him being the first name on the chopping block is clearly insane to me considering he is the world’s best number 9 (with flaws, of course) but it’s your channel brother.
Rare L from you on Kane. Speaking from a place of emotion and not a clear logical state of mind. It’s absurd to think you should bench Kane for Foden. Up there with people who think Trent should be played in midfield or Bellingham should be played as an 8 to “help progression”. You can rarely score goals or keep possession of the ball and your next thought is to remove your best goalscorer? Not look for how to get the best out of him? And who tf cares about pressing? The last 3 world champions have had 34+ year olds leading their press and it didn’t stop them from winning because they were compact in a midbloc and had others doing the running. Imagine asking Argentina to drop Messi because he’s not a threat inbehind instead of just providing him with Alvarez who stretched the opposition team hence providing space for Messi. Even Spain who won with a strikerless system did it with 6 all time midfielders not guys like Foden who has been trashy in an England shirt and needs a specific environment to thrive or Bellingham who’s just 20 years old. The team lacks balance and cohesion. That’s the issue, not any specific player.
@@PythagorasinBootsonce again speaking from a place of emotion. There was a reason I went as far back as 2014. 36 year old Klose, 32 year old Ronaldo, Giroud and 35 year old Messi were not used to stretch the pitch by their managers as they were physically incapable at that point in their career but their managers made it work. Removing the player with the highest goal contributions in Europe and who has a proven competition track record to accommodate Foden who has been underwhelming in an England shirt and who only thrived under extremely specific conditions last season is not logical especially since that sort of change will bring a drastic overhaul to the system and style….just to build around a player who isn’t even top 3 most talented or important English players
Play 343. A back 3 with Saka/Trent wingbacks. Wharton as the 6 Either play Rice or Belly as the 8 Gordon on the left Foden on the right I’d give Kane 60mins in this formation

Been waiting for this!
@@sssf55word
U were so right abt kane. 🎉🎉
Thoughts on a Bellingham-Rice pivot? Would open up the 10 spot for Foden or Palmer who I think are much better creative players than Bellingham.
Wouldn’t work long term. Jude is awkward in the build up phase, doesn’t make enough passing options. Not nimble enough
Then Bellingham is the one who needs to be benched not Harry 😂
@@PythagorasinBootsthen Jude is the one that needs to go. I don’t get why you put him at the 10. He’s our biggest problem in attack cause he’s too awkward and ineffective on the ball

Hi I was wondering if you could make a video on William Saliba? Love your videos
Can you please consider making 'how good is Destiny Udogie?'. Loving the vids as always
Aside from that the starting lineup looks right
Someone finally said it
Would like some videos on Copa America considering there are some interesting teams like Colombia and Uruguay in this edition to challenge the world champions.
If you were the coach, how would you improve Harry kane?
Possibly player runners like Rashford and Sterling
This vid is pure gold. Come back to it every time England are about to play 😂😂😂
Agree with everything u said. Only thing I’d change is Guehi at RCB over Walker. Don’t really rate Walker tbh
The tactical change that needs to happen is to play with a high line
What team do you support
What does that have to do with anything? English people and this dumb question.
I agree. And when Kane is cooking I love him, but he just doesn’t have the X factor. I’ve accepted it
Dropping Kane isn’t going to happen so what are tactical or personnel tweaks *with* Kane
That was 6 years ago. That's a long time for your body
Tbh He could've picked Leif Davis. He was really good last season, especially on set pieces.
Kane should play a Firmino role for England, he needs inside forwards next to him.
he doesnt have the stamina or fitness to press like firmino
@@msmjsiajdgdhsjajahgshsjaje8990 not to mention England don't have anyone NEAR the threat of prime Mane or Salah.
It can be hard to leave out a player of Kane's scoring record, especially when the next best is 30-ish goals behind him
Watkins is class and could certainly be great for this team. Most assists in the league last year too
If you are going to call out Kane you will have to call the coach and call out ninety odd percent of the team
Kane would've been so much better at Real Madrid I think. It would've allowed Vini and Rodrygo to cut in, but also to atract players and draw fouls and space for them to shoot.
Kane's trophy curse VS. Real's Champions League plot armor ?
would've loved to see it.
Pretty much how I would do it except swap Bellingham for Foden

Finally you found the england problem
_Is Wharton potentially a player you’d want in midfield?_
💯
@@PythagorasinBoots_I think he’s literally the perfect profile but Southgate has no idea._
Agreed with all that
Is there a reason as to why you would drop Guehi?
I don’t want to tbh think he’s done really well. Purely tactical reasons - I would like to see if he could be the LB like Ake and form the back three
@@PythagorasinBoots Has Walker ever played LB? Would he be able to give England width down the left-hand side if they continue to persist w Foden on the left? Hence, they would be able to play TAA at RB and invert him.
Also, going off that idea, would ENG have the same issues if Rice was CDM w TAA inverted next to him?
I can't imagine a team talk from Messi or Morata, which can impress someone automatically. They are capable captains though. And who else? Jude? Pickford? No
Messi has improved as a leader but also he is a goat level player. Morata presses like a mad man and gives it his all despite his limitations
@PythagorasinBoots So we're at the stage that pressing like a madman is more valuable than insane goal scoring ability to a striker? Football is truly finished, mate.

Incorrect. I said he’s a weak link for PSG but the best fit between Rodri and Pedri.
do you really not see Trent in a midfiled role at all?I am wondering about the Conor Bradley dynamic at Liverpool
People act like he is a technician but he is just a workhorse similar to Gallagher. Musiala, Writz and Pedri are clear
Jude was doing everything against Serbia, without any runners and Kane thinking he’s a midfielder. Against Denmark, Jude created the most chances and created one as soon as he got a runner in Watkins. Always tries the defensive effort but failed against Denmark.
Foden is the luxury player.

Firstly I don't know what youre watching as clearly Bellingham was pressing hard he always does and he is pretty good at it btw. And England as a whole didn't press but you want him to run. Not defending his overall performance but can't question his hardwork.

I would not have thought that such an expression comes up. Winning and losing is sth which is learnt. Ronaldo lost his first final at 19 and missed two penalties in his first CL final in 2008.
Kane is not Messi - please don’t put him in that category
