- SORRY about this rant video everyone...Just couldn't stop myself lol.
I am so disappointed in this NEW version of Chitubox as I found the previous one irritating and awkward to use, but this one??? wow!!! even worse!!!!!

Hopefully they sort some of the minor issues at least in an update. I don't like how you can only move stuff around by only dragging on the model whereas before you could also drag the supports
I agree, I HOPE they get there act together. as someone who worked in software development for over 25 years, I'm shocked that there testing team are not pointing this stuff out, seems to me its by design...
This was a massive fail for me as it would just crash and loose my project.
Had to roll back to 1.81 which still seems to work

I want to use v1.9.4 but it doesn't have my Elegoo saturn 3 ultra msla 3d printer. So I have just downloaded v2.0 but when I click on an stl file it goes straight to v1.9.4. I opened v2.0 and dragged an stl file to the screen but it don,t work. Is there another Elegoo profile I can use on v1.9.4 for the 12k printer.
Sorry, I am not from Chitubox Bob, this video is just a rant about HOW bad the newest version of it is. Check on Reddit or similar, I'm sure you will find the answer there bud
Hi. Thanks for using CHITUBOX. We believe that the 2.0 version is more comprehensive and powerful, but it is indeed not perfect just like everything in the world. Thank you for your important advice. We will look into the things you mentioned in the video and see how we can continue to improve user experience. 😀.
Thanks for posting here @chituboxofficial987, I appreciate it. I think the problem for me is that the issues in the software are SO basic, its as if NO ONE is doing any testing of your software before its released??? I CANT believe this is 'as designed'??? I worked as a software engineer and team leader for over 25 years and never seen such 'bad' features being allowed to be released, I HOPE you can get them sorted and all the best. Just a note on your quote there - 'but it is indeed not perfect just like everything in the world' - true, but you could of done a lot better than that release, as I said it wasn't just a few minor bugs or issues here and there (expected with software) but VERY basic and obvious stuff...

I went back to using the previous version. 2.0 is a cluster. It's crashed more times in a single (evening) session of use than the previous version did in the 8 months I've used it. Also I have a pretty decent computer (i9 10th gen, RTX3080, & 64GB of RAM) yet it gets super choppy when I try to rotate/zoom. So frustrating.
Yeah, Its problematic right across the board actually...They have sent out emails to say V2.1 is now available and I have messaged them to ask if they have ACTUALLY fixed the bugs that were in V2 OR is it just a release to include their new 'Chitu Manager' add in, but they haven't replied. I would guess they have not fixed anything and this new release is just a promo for their new add-in, which...I suspect will also be RUBBISH lol
