Imo, easily the best Star Wars media ever. The tension is unyielding and palpable. The acting is incredible. The themes are mad layered and the writing/directing is top shelf.
I agree. I hope moving forward Star Wars takes a cue from this show. Even if it’s a lighter hearted, more cartoonish show or movie you CAN have great dialogue and three dimensional characters in Star Wars. Poor writing was always a bug, not a feature.
Ep 9 managed to even make it darker than all the previous episodes! The torture device with children screams, mercy kill with Ulaf, staging to kill a pilot without a trace, Mon being trapped in a conundrum in her morality. I could go on and on! Also Serkis' acting is chef's kiss! The series just won't let up!
Glad u guys are enjoying this series despite the low ratings. I think many ppl are waiting to binge it all. Wish y'all kept the same energy for Bad Batch and Rebels I remember when Rob vowed that rttv would become the biggest star wars reaction channel
@@shad3115 I figured they probably wouldn't take a liking to them but to not even give them a try just sucks. I bet their viewership wouldn't have fell off like it has
Crazy thing is, this wasn’t even the worst of the imperial prisons. And the empire did in fact Operate slavery and slave trades. They honestly give No Fs
Not a big deal if you don’t change it. But during your discussion session at the end - is there any way to turn down the volume on the intro portion of the background song you use? It kinda drowns out your voices each time the vocals kick-in. Great reaction gents.
I don't think they've been keeping people in the prison for years, because word would've got out sooner on the other levels. The med tech said they made a mistake and put the guy back in on accident. People probably got out before.
Nah, they probably rotate the people that "finish" their sentence to a different prison that has people who know they're not getting out. Essentially death camps
I think they don't released people after the new guidelines, PORD a.k.a. Public Order Resentencing Decree that was issued after The Aldahani Heist. The Doctor said, they don't released people, not after this, i think he mean not after PORD. As we can see everything change after Aldhani Heist. In Episode 7, The Woman Judicial says Cassian sentence at first is only 6 months but after PORD it changed to 6 years. A change of guidelines. Mon Mothma actually addressing the PORD in the Senate on this episode. Sorry for my bad english
Kino had given up on the idea 💡 of escaping their imprisonment on Narkina 5, but, hearing that everyone on level 2 was basically executed, and the medical officer confirming it, along with blatant disregard for Ulaf's life, even if it _was_ a mercy kill, 🥺, was the _final,_ the *very,* *_very last straw!_* 😠😡

@@SwiftJustice Sure, but you can have content for kids that is still well written.
@@AaronPlay I agree completely, script matter no matter the tone of the show.

BB and Rebels are boring which is why they’re not watching them. They will drop it as soon as it gets boring. They did that with Boruto.

Keep up the good work girls! Yall are the reaction queens!
These my favorite plus sized queens on TH-cam

Didn’t they lobotomies people and make them cyborg laborers? Like Wookiee?
Yep. Even in the LucasEra Star Wars, slavery was mentioned, though never really shown. For example, the Wookie had been enslaved.
13:11 Bruh. Syril is drunk off her Kool-Aid. He's not simply asking for a job. Bruh is simpin' HARD.

Or maybe he was supposed to go to another center. Remember there's 7 floating prison centers, he put him back in one where ppl already recognized him
Rt Tv set feels claustrophobic asfc
Can someone tell me the name of the score in the beginning of the video please 🙏
Duel of the Fates from Episode 1
We gettin a jail break next week!
Rob is okay? 15:55 Haha
Remember early on the inmate that killed himself. I bet he was a brought back after his sentence was up to that floor only he did not tell anyone.
Episode volume was low
ngl last two episodes we pretty slow but this one def rose the tensions and I can't wait for episode 10!
How? Sh!t has been mad tense
Wow, if people think the last two are slow I guess my brain just works differently. All that is world building, tension building, character building.
