Very nice. Actually you do not have to wait for the head to develop or to cut it all off. When the plant is growing healthily, you just start to pick the lower leaves from each plant or whatever many you need, just leave enough at the top for the plant to grow on, this way you have salat leaves for maybe 10 weeks or more :-)

Não sei se você podia tirar minha dúvida mas se a gente precisa colocar nutrientes para planta, vai na terra? Ou direto na água? Comprei umas plantinhas no Carrefour já com o sistema e só colocar a água porém acho que elas precisam de nutrientes ✌🏼.
Eu amei essa dica. Fiz aqui em casa com minhas plantas, ia fazer com Horta. Porem os cordões apodrece e as minhas plantas ficaram com a terra seca. Tive que replantar tudo dinovo.mais a ideia é ótima

The one and only problem with lettuce is after you harvest your first 10 heads, you end up with 10 heads and need to wait another month for another ones to grow. Nobody likes to wait one month and I guess not everybody needs 10 lettuces at once. Still the general idea of limited space usage is superb here.
Just pull off the leaves you need every day and the plant will produce for three months non stop. I did this in aquaponics, in plastic bottles and also in soil and was amazed by just nipping off the outer leaves you only need a few plants of as many varieties as you desire. Nicely done with the wicks though.

How is it getting water? Through the rope? And what's the 30-10-10? is it nitrogen? This is really y cool, just wish there were some explanations
The rope has the effect of absorbing water to the soil. I use microbial fertilizer.

Não sei se você podia tirar minha dúvida mas se a gente precisa colocar nutrientes para planta, vai na terra? Ou direto na água? Comprei umas plantinhas no Carrefour já com o sistema e só colocar a água porém acho que elas precisam de nutrientes ✌🏼.
Ajuda aí... O que é aquele produto azul que ela misturou na terra.

Porem os cordões apodrece e as minhas plantas ficaram com a terra seca.

The one and only problem with lettuce is after you harvest your first 10 heads, you end up with 10 heads and need to wait another month for another ones to grow. Nobody likes to wait one month and I guess not everybody needs 10 lettuces at once. Still the general idea of limited space usage is superb here.

Stagger your plantings a few days apart.
Just pull off the leaves you need every day and the plant will produce for three months non stop. I did this in aquaponics, in plastic bottles and also in soil and was amazed by just nipping off the outer leaves you only need a few plants of as many varieties as you desire. Nicely done with the wicks though.
