I was just watching your video on the John Deere app you’re discussing I have a 2020 X390 I download the app put in my serial number and it said this year is not supported yet I’m starting to get a little disillusioned with John Deere. But keep up the good work I Enjoy your videos very informative

How do you reset the maintenance reminder? Mine still says "Due Now" even after I entered info under "Add to task History"
I am looking forward to John deere creating the Mow tracking app and Bluetooth retrofit kit for the Z900 series.
Hopefully the app will allow you to track multiple properties and multiple John Deere equipment that you would choose to use for various jobs. "Stand-on vs. Z-turn"

So really the thing it does is mow tracking . All the other stuff is in the manual or below the seat for service etc.

I'll likely start using the app here with my X350 although I'm not too sure how I feel about John Deere having all the data (even though it's not really any "secret") my concern is access to the data between devices (i.e. getting a new phone, selling my mower, or letting Deere get out of a warranty claim based on unreported maintenance) - I'll take pictures and a written log of the work I do to my machine outside of the app. John Deere doesn't have a perfect record around technology, their products and the end user - that said I don't believe they are the worst either (just most recognizable brand where they have chosen to limit what the owner is able to do). I'm very happy with my mower and would likely consider another JD when the time comes (only have about 100 hours on mine so it should be several years from now)

I tell you I ordered BUC10929 module for my z530 R . I Took the side off and plugged the module in. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit the screw holes to mount . Not sure what the heck is going on . Plus it won’t even list a 60 inch and there is no way to Manually put it in . I would ask my local John Deere dealer but there not friendly. Oh well it’s not the first 100.00 I wasted. .
I have heard these issues before. Hopefully John Deere is working on the App to get the mowers and deck sizes fixed. I’m sorry for the inconvenience and hopefully this is resolved soon. Thanks for watching!
Got a question when the app asks what size deck it only says 48 and 54 . I have a 60 inch so will that make a difference? I have a Z 530 R. 60 inch
That is odd. I would see if you can go in after picking your deck size and manually change it to a 60". This will throw off your data some. Thanks for watching!
Have you had a s130 burn grass from heat from motor or muffler I have every time I stop on grass it burns grass and kills it

I watched your whole video three times now I hope that I wouldn't have to have my smartphone on me for it to keep track of where my mower is is it able to keep track without my phone being on me and another question I have for you how can I tell if my John Deere x580 has this little device on it already please let me know thank you
Yes, you will have to have to keep your phone on you to be able to track since it will work off of the GPS on your phone. No mowers come with the smart connector as a standard feature so you would have to purchase it. Good questions and thanks for watching!

Can anyone tell me where I can find information on my 1999 JD model GX1542 B020724? I'm looking for a wiring diagram for this particular model. I bought this tractor used and found the wiring to be FUBAR. I called JD and the guy seemed just as confused as I was. Thanx in advance.

Docta Strange, I have 4 JD's one is 35 years old, it starts first time, every time and runs great. If you do regular maintenance they will serve you well. Not sure what you are talking about, but you are welcome to your opinion

Global support center sent me a email today . They said there is no time frame on getting the 60 inch added to the mowing app but they will . I’m really surprised that such a big company as John Deere didn’t think of adding 60 inch on there mowing option . So basically the mowing part is worthless untill tech fixes this . Wow

Every business is tightening their belts in order to save money. It’s quite possible not many of the larger units are sold. Just a suggestion! I agree if RS&D could add to the software being utilized!
The app is a great idea. But, you need to purchase the module for $109 plus tax (and shipping).

I’ve tried this app before and it didn’t track and log worth a damn. It said I mowed through my house, my neighbors place, the street and then gave me way off numbers in the end.

Still no word from John deere tech . Waiting to see if they can add 60 inch mowers to the app. So if you get a 60 inch mower you better wait before buying the module

App worked fine but it's now crashing after 3 seconds. Others have reported this also at Google Play. I wrote the developer, no answer yet.
Hopefully this has been addressed and John Deere and the developer are working to fix it.

I dunno. I don't believe the app/adapter combo offers real value. If it functioned like an OBD2 reader as we see for cars and was an aid in troubleshooting and real time info on operating parameters, I could go for it. I mean, I know how to mow. I know how to take the deck on and off.

Does it remind you to buy a new AM141075 every three years?? If not, it should!! Last one I bought was 3 years ago and it cost about 75 bucks. Now I need another one and it's about $111.00 and it is the same pile of shit that has been replaced 2 other times!!!! This is also the second one that the bedding has become close to a liquid. Close to a chewed gum consistency... JD and dealers must be making a nice pile of cash on these pieces of crap!!!
