Those of us who have experienced incredible amounts of pain and trauma recognize that in Sinead's voice. She is our sister in despair and sorrow. And she sings for all of us. I love you, Sinead.. 🖤
With depression it's very hard to cry, but this did it. Certain lyrics really resonate. " I'm gonna reach a hand out to you.. say would you pull me up, now could you ." " I don't wanna waste the life God gave me and I don't think that it's too late to save me." Beautiful lyrics
Sinéad you speak for those who can’t… the loss of you here in the physical is shocking and hard for those of us who have been with you for so long but now hopefully more people will actually be able to hear you, God bless you and thank you
She’s was such an important human being, as an activist, as a reminder of the things that truly matter, a cautionary angel, that it’s actually easy to forget the enormous musical talent. This is the “celebrity” (how she hated being one) whose death hurts the most. By a lot. 💔
Its 3 months now and I can barely listen to a song without crying tears of gratitude, awe, wonder and so many more feelings.....the celebrity topic is noteworthy among other topics that continue to amaze me about her. She stood by her contract with her Divine. She steered clear of fame and vanity and materialism. Pretty much unheard of these days in the music business. In a wonderful podcast conversation on The Women's Podcast "Remembering Sinead O'Connor, she says it like it is, talks about why John Lennon is gone and that many singers are knowingly or unknowingly programming their audience. She was such a badass how she could not be manipulated or controlled for money.
Sinead had (and has) an extraordinary emotional intelligence, and an extraordinary mental and even spiritual intelligence, and then you get to her musical and artistic abilities, that are at the genius level. She painted with music in many different hues and spoke The Truth. I miss her. But Sinead still lives as she sits on my lap, as my cat, too. Her name's Sinead O'Connor.
I am 56 now so lived through Sinead’s life, in fact we are the same age. However I feel a bit dumb because only now do I fall in love. Beautiful voice beautiful soul.
I'm 58 and fortunate to have loved her since her astounded debut. She was a force of nature that came to help all of us lost in the beauty and fakeness of the 80's.
1966 baby here too. All resonates very deeply for reasons I don't even understand myself. Got busy with life and now wondering what to do with all this belated admiration. Inexplicably sad and feeling like I should have done something I didn't do. Guess we'll just have to channel it into becoming better people -- which is a pretty decent tribute really.
Sinead is a diamond, a nugget, she's definitely not from our dirty planet! She is clean, honest, and has never buckled under anyone! Ireland, you didn't save her! You didn't give her a helping hand, but only oppressed her as a person! She has glorified your country! although you are a very small country. Sinead, she put her soul into every song, and when she performed, she lived it. Each of her songs is a MASTERPIECE!!! SHE has no equal! 💔💔💔🙏🙏🙏
She is my favorite singer, first for her magnificent voice and all the effects she does with it, second for her look that is so not giving it to the pressure of society (even if she is a very pretty woman), and I love how her guitar has tape and scratch on it. I wish to meet her someday.
Yeah. That hits home for me too. I've lost a lot of people along the way. And it sucks. So yeah, I'm careful who I hang out with. Cause they might die... or just leave. I'm ok though😉😎
I found this today..why was I late on this?..one of my favorites already..rest in peace and say hello to me when I join you..thank you for all you have shared with us.. you were too young..
It's such gold sprinkling evey time she takes her voice, fingers, the sound producers but the setting is so perfect unlike the reality or realty or what ever.
Tout simplement la plus belle voix au monde, la plus belle âme. Sinéad je t'aime infiniment ❤❤😢❤ tous les soirs je t'écoute pour m'endormir avec toi❤mon cœur.

A year, wow. RIP to the little Irish vampire slayer. We wouldn’t be the same without you.

Condolences. You must be incredibly sad just as I am. Survivor here.

She is one in a million. When you meet such a person you immediately recognize how special they are.
There are moments in this song when her voice is so beautiful she takes me to a place I can’t even speak of.

A brief scroll through the comments shows how much love the world has for Sinead
You can hear that every word she sings is for real. Great tune from a unique artist.
One of her most beautiful songs. And now she's gone. Thank you Sinead for your music and your heroism

Well said underhear 💔
"I stole your Granny's Rosery for 50 P" might be the most Irish lyrics ever written. 💚

First heard this driving across Texas, late at night some radio station, blew me away...She was an angel...RIP

Rest In Peace our wounded warrior with the voice of an avenging angel 🥀🖤

The balance between hope and despair is perfect. This song unnerves me.
"If I love someone, I might lose someone" WOW!
