Decent castle build. I made the same mistake with my first castle build. What mistake? The artillery pieces. Those artillery pieces need to be placed on solid foundation that goes directly to ground. They are built that way, and the forces they produce require them to be placed on solid ground. My second castle build I rectified this mistake, by placing foundation blocks directly overtop of the artillery dugouts. If you just want to build for the sake of building then sure. If you want to build for design, realism, practicality and most importantly structural engineering realism, then those artillery pieces need to be properly supported. There is a litany of Fallout 4 builders, but only a handful of good Fallout 4 builders. And unfortunately, the vast majority of the realistic builders do not have the following of your Channel. Fallout 4 is a great game for practicing building and then eventually, design and architectural endeavors. Few learn and unfortunately, the vast majority will just shrug it off. THIS is the reason why you see so many building in real life, eventually collapse. A church in the U.K. after 180 so years collapsed recently, while the Tower of Pisa remains strong. Why did it collapse? The architect warned the church 180 years ago that the tower was compromised, told the church to take it down and hire a new contractor, since the builders that originally built it were not fit for the task. The tower was poorly constructed. And thus, 180 years later their mistake was FINALLY revealed. People cannot even build retaining walls that last for 50 years. Our buildings are paper houses compared to old world architecture. And here we think we have evolved in technology, when in fact we have gone backwards. When you say, it's just a game. Sure, play the game that way. If you want realism in your builds, then build properly. Hope you take this as constructive criticism and learn. Cheers🍻
Someone does know two mods that when you loot a dead body it appears all the loot of the dead bodies around and one that you can receive xp from the defenses and settlers when kill
