I read an article about silver having a slight magnetic response, if it has a rhodium coating it can cause a slight response to a magnet because rhodium can be magnetic, I do have pieces confirmed sterling but have a slight response, Ive also heard sticking vs just a slight response are different too. Since I still don't understand I just stay away from anything that has a response unless it's a special vintage item of course.
