Dude you’re literally KILLING it with these videos!! 🔥 can you make a video all about trailing arms?? Like if you want to make a hopper what you should do and just basically lay out everything there is to know
I’ll add it to the list. I’ve gotten so many ideas now that I just need to take the time to get all the videos done. I draw up all the diagram videos myself so it takes time. I’m trying to post about every other day at 5pm central time. The next video took a long time to make.
Wheel size doesn’t exactly matter. I’ve had 20s on a truck with hydraulics and got plenty of travel. There is a certain point that can make it hard for the hydraulics to do much. If you have 26s for example, you can still have hydraulics but I’d be worried about clearance issues.
Thx for the video! I wang to get a bunch of hydraulic kits, i wang to know how to choose a motor? where i can find the information about those products?
On my current project “mini truck” im running 3/8” fittings & now im starting on my 64 impala. What size fittings would be good for 3 pump setup ive seen 1/2,3/4? I’ll be running 8 or possibly 10 batteries?
To answer your question, hardlines can restrict your flow. Inside diameter of a 3/8 hard line is smaller than a traditional rubber hose. Just depends on a few factors.
Russell Harris Lowrider Hydraulics you should make a video on why it’s always a good idea to run your dump offset to the plumbing even ifs it’s a straight shot Italian dump!! A lot of people do not know the importance of that
I think that also contributes to pressure lock. Strangely enough I’ve seen it done very recent by a well known building. Reach out to me on FB, I just did one that you would appreciate.
Thanks for al vids, well described. Can't stress enough the no teflon on JIC rule! To all, make sure to sub/like/share....gotta feed the YT algorithm, all hail the algorithm
I got a 2pump set up with 4 dumps I got a 1970 impala custom I have issues of it leaning when I hit the switch up but when I have a passanger and back passanger the car lifts up even mind you I bleed all the lines on each cylinder I'm running 1ton pre cuts front and back I would love to find out the issue thanks
Could be so many different things. Turned Spring, uneven hoses, bent metal somewhere, restricted fittings and so on. Try lifting to back first then the front and see if it still lifts uneven.
@@LOWRIDERHYDRAULICS I lifted the rear and went up even and once I lifted the front it leaned on the driver's side front and thank you Russel love the content I've been subscribed since 2017 glad to see you back much love from So Cal.
That means you have narrowed it down to one of the corners, just need to keep narrowing down where the problem is. Try this, jack up the front of the car under the frame with the front fully dumped, when the car is in the air, look at a few things. 1. Springs, make sure they are turned the same way on each side. 2. Look at the donuts and see if one is bent worse than the other (I’m guessing this is your issue). 3. Look at the cylinder hole and see if they both look even compared to the other. 4. Look at all your bushings to see if they are in tacked. 5. See if you see any bent or coming apart metal that shouldn’t be. All of these items could cause your issue. The donuts is a common reason for lifting at different times if one is bent more that the other. On a single pump setup to the front the fluid will go on the path of least resistance so if one side is easier to start lifting than the other, it will lift there first. I normally weld the donut on the underside of the pocket when they are first installed so they can’t bend too much. Or you can swap out the thin donuts to a thick size that are much harder to bend. Hope this all helps to point you in the right direction. Let me know what you figure out, I love to hear what the fix ends up being. Thank you for the support after all these years. 👍🏻
Bro your videos are 🔥..keep up the great content ...KEEP THEM COMING!
Thank you

@@LOWRIDERHYDRAULICS Russell Harris how big can wheel be to get hydrolics?? Or is it only 13's

@@LOWRIDERHYDRAULICS ok thanks can you tell me if a hopper can have 15's like hop like a show car?? Not on the daily but just every once in a while
Yes it can

Great content ! Do hardliners make any type of difference ? in your next video bro
I’ve actually already done a hard lines video but you have given me an idea. Thank you sir!

My slow down doesn’t have an arrow, is there any other way of telling the flow to the return
I’ve always had the best luck creating the pressure at the cylinder choking it at the pump can kill your hop
Exactly!

I’m assuming you’re talking about adding a Tee instead of going through the dump on the pressure side?
Russell Harris Lowrider Hydraulics yes exactly I’ve been seeing a lot of people running straight through the dump and they blow seals left and right
I think that also contributes to pressure lock. Strangely enough I’ve seen it done very recent by a well known building. Reach out to me on FB, I just did one that you would appreciate.
What are the benefits of running 2 pumps 3 pumps or 4 pumps what is the difference in the systems
Easier to 3 wheel with 3 or 4 pumps, other than that it is mostly preference.
Notification gang wya??
