Sir I have a doubt that electrolytic reduction is used for highly reactive metals then how Cu would extract from Cuso4 electrolytic reduction process. Cu is moderate reactive metals and moderate reactive metals are extracted by reducing agents through reduction.

With due respect, I request you to give correct information to the students. Copper sulphate dissociates into Copper ions ie, Cu++ and sulphate ions ie, SO4 -- (two negative charge).

They are ions formed when Cu reacts with SO4 forming CuSO4. When CuSO4 is in molten or aqueous state the bonds between Cu and SO4 break and as a result Cu+ and SO4- ions are formed.. Hope you understood.
