I don’t see anything wrong what Apoorva says here. During that time when so much things were unknown about covid, all she did was offering her patients what was best for them based on recommendations despite the risks the vax may have but she was hopeful that the vax worked for her vulnerable patients at that time. She also mentioned about autonomy, which means her patients could reject the vax if they wish to.

I don't give a crap if it puts her in an awkward position. As a physician she has the obligation to do and suggest things that have proven to be effective in either treating or preventing disease. She knows vaccines are the right thing to do and shouldn't hesitate at all to recommend them. Her husband has nothing to do with it
He had his own mother who is also a Dr perform a study on a failed Alzheimer’s drug he purchased and resold with her study that was said to not be on the up and up. Pretty much everyone sold out to some extent. It's not like people actually stay single no matter how long it takes to find someone they are actually compatible with and have a mutually healthy relationship with, so that the usual advice that love doesn't feel like being in love for more than a year or two thing doesn't happen. Of course it doesn't last when you find out who you are really with.... someone you are not compatible with and you might not like much. I am 75. I lived in the U.K. I was first on the phone to book my Covid vaccine. I always wore my mask when I went out even for a run!. So far I have not had Covid or received any side affects.

She never claimed that the benefits of the vaccine far outweigh the risks for all age groups, nor did she even allude to it. It's David who is making these claims and he has no expertise in this area. From my understanding, she is saying that at the time she got the vaccine, based on the information available to her, she made that decision-a decision many of us also made. Additionally, it's worth remembering that initially, the vaccine was touted to be over 95% effective at stopping transmission. As a cancer doctor treating immunocompromised patients, it would have been negligent on her part not to take the vaccine and risk spreading COVID-19 to her patients.
I am also unclear about David's logic that if she did indeed express that the benefits of the vaccine far outweigh the risks in all age groups (a belief David seems to assume she holds simply because she's a doctor and that's what he believes), how would that be detrimental to her husband's political aspirations? Consider this: the top Republican candidate, who is leading by 50 points, is pro-COVID-19 vaccination. So, I am puzzled as to why David feels a pro-vaccine stance from her would put a nail in the coffin of Vivek's presidential campaign.

I've had COVID multiple times, even after getting two vaccine shots, but I don't regret it. Given my health condition, I believe the vaccine has protected me from more severe illness.

According to Vivek he needs to be deported immediately to the country from which his parents came.
In a recent interview, he said one of his first policies he wants to enact as president would be to send every child whether you were newly born or your aged 40+ that were born with parents who are not US citizens and deport them back to their country of origin from where their parents came.
In that same interview shortly after saying that he then admitted that he was born when his parents were not US citizens, therefore under his own policy that he created that he wants to enact as president, he needs to immediately be deported back to the country from which his parents came from.

I was concerned about an allergic reaction to the vaccine in the beginning. I talked to my doctor who said I had nothing to worry about and so I got the vaccine and she was right. I had absolutely nothing to be worried about and aside from a mild side effect of being tired afterward I was totally fine. I am usually always a little tired after the flu shot too so it was no big deal. I get that everyone is different but I think the majority of us would be fine and benefit from getting vaccinated for the things we can be vaccinated for and it also helps protect those who can’t be vaccinated. If people don’t agree with that , that’s their right. But for me, it’s just the right thing to do.
But I got the vax and still got covid, so in my case it didn't even help. I had covid 4 Times, that i can remember anyway. Twice in 2021, once in 22, and once earlier in 23.
