A trip to Kelleys Island is a journey back in time. Escape the hectic pace of today’s world to a place where feet, golf carts and bicycles are the more common mode of travel. Where doors are rarely locked and everyone is a neighbor.
And where better to savor the relaxing flavor of Kelleys Island than The Inn, where old fashioned charm and hospitality have been a tradition for more than 80 years?
Whether you’re here to enjoy the abundant wildlife and scenic trails, the vineyards and wine tasting, the fishing, swimming and boating, the night life or the quaint shops of Kelleys Island, your stay at The Inn will make for a pleasurable and relaxing vacation.

Photographer, videographer, public speaker, what's next? Nice job.
LOL... Thanx... I'm still working on the 2 West Virginia Farm projects, that I had lined up for possible voiceovers as well. So that's what is on the desktop at the moment... And I also have a trip into PA scheduled for this week, to a top secret WAY COOL location for a fly & film :-)
Well, if your stay there wasn't free, it should have been. Nice promo. I think this is the 1st video of yours which I've watched that has a voice over narration. I started doing them when I did my covered bridge series, and now its my prefered way to present a video. (don't like to clutter the video with a lot of pop up messages). Your narration sounded a bit 'scripted'. I usually watch the video I'm going to do a voice over on a couple times to formulate what I'm going to say. If there are important dates or numbers that need to be included, I jot those down on a piece of paper. Then, I start the voice over and just ad-lib it as I go through. Again, that's my personal preference, but your scripted method sounds more like a commercial tour guide .. which may have been your intention. At any rate, I really liked the presentation. I haven't been to Kelley's since I was about 9 yrs old. Been to Put-in-Bay many, many times though. Also, I always ride Miller's Ferry .. never been on the Jet Boat. Getting a bit late in the year to plan a visit out there this year, but I should definitely do one next year. Great job! Cheers.
Thanx Bill... Actually, the prices usually go down after Labor Day weekend, so September's can be a great time to head out there. This was my first ever voiceover, and it does sound a lil 'stiff'... But that's how we learn... With this type of video though, you can't really just wing it and ad-lib... It has to be presented ;-) No, my stay was not comped... I just did it to do it... I never expect any returns, except smiles :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
Did you show the video to the owners? What did they think? I think you can speak extemporaneously as long as you've jotted down notes of important numbers and dates and perhaps names (if they're hard to remember). You probably remember Ernie Anderson ( of Cleveland Ghoulardi fame), who turned pro announcer. He was an 'off the cuff' announcer, but then, he was also a pro, and made quite a good living at what he did. Looking forward to future voice over vids ... Cheers
The owners were the first I let know about it when it was posted, and they enjoyed it. I will take what you've mentioned into consideration, I appreciate the critique and suggestions, as that's how we learn :-)

Glad you enjoyed it Delvis, I'll be sure to stop by your page soon... enjoy :-)
